  1. He has a monitor in his original build, so adding it on to your build would set him over budget.
  2. I like @Allshevski 's idea. Take a really soft-bristled toothbrush and wet it with rubbing alcohol. The pins on those AMD CPUs are not nearly as fragile as you might think. Scrub the pins lightly and it should work nicely.
  3. Everything looks great IMO. Although I will say that you could get away with a much lower wattage PSU if you want to save a bit of money, but I understand if you're persistent on the PSU you chose. Killer ITX build I say!
  4. I'm afraid not, no. The GTX 960 GPU die is a different shape than the GTX 970 die. Not only that, but the PCB layout is completely different.
  5. Haha, probably should have checked those first. This is probably one of those notorious batches that had faulty LEDs. I prefer the old logo as well, but I found that once it's on my desk, I pay no attention to it at all, but that's just me.
  6. I checking up Newegg and I checked the Shell Shocker deals as I always do, and I came across this, IMO, awesome deal. A Corsair K95 (Unfortunately not RGB, but still a great keyboard nonetheless) with CherryMX Reds and a nice neutral white LED for only $99. http://www.newegg.com/Special/ShellShocker.aspx?cm_sp=Homepage_SS-_-P2_23-816-032-_-02222016
  7. I just realized my last post was poorly worded, the website is actually accurate, there will 100% be a Summer Sale, but what I was saying is that it most likely will not list the minor sales in between today and the Summer Sale.
  8. I feel like there is one, but according to WhenIsTheNextSteamSale.com, the next sale is the Summer Sale. Then again, this is the same website that never listed the previous sale that ended in February 12, I forget what it was called. So take that website with a grain of salt.
  9. I agree. The biggest no-no on last year's S6 was the lack of SD Card support, but now that it's back, my brother has super high hopes that the Note 6 will be his next phone. He was initially upset that the Note 5 didn't include a SD Card slot since it's one of the Note series staple features.
  10. The dead giveaway was his "Fedora Master 3000" monitor.
  11. I'm afraid you're falling for this bait.
  12. I don't think so, I think that's just how the game is rendered.
  13. It's more of a convenience thing, so I leave the switch in the "on" position always.
  14. It's pretty close though. It estimated pretty close to what my Kill-A-Watt read.
  15. I've used both Google Play Music and Spotify, currently using Spotify, I don't know, but I liked both, although I like the simple interface of the Google Play Music app.
  16. Anything with CherryMX switches IMO. That includes Corsair (K70 (RGB), K95 (RGB) & Strafe (RGB)), Ducky, Cooler Master, Logitech..That's all I can think of on the top of my head. From there, choose which one you think looks the best, since they're all great keyboards.
  17. My 6 Noctua NF-F12 iPPC 2000 and 2 Noctua NF-A14 iPPC 2000 run at around 750 RPM (all of them, although note that they can spin slower than that) at idle and it's pretty quiet for me. My D5 pump at speed setting of 3 sounds louder than my fans. Although some people find different noise levels as their "quiet".
  18. Yes, Performance PCs still has them in stock. http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=noctua+ltt
  19. Ah I see. Mine gathers so much dust as well with 6 intakes, especially since 3 are top intakes. I have to wipe off my GPU backplate every few days or so and do a complete air clean about every month.
  20. You rock your tower without a side panel as well? *High Five*. I do too, well, I have a side panel, but the plastic window is removed because it looked ugly with all its scratches.
  21. That's a bit too hot to be honest, even the reference GTX 980Ti only reaches about 85C (Albeit with thermal throttling). What are your fan speeds when gaming? That could be the culprit. I would recommend downloading MSI Afterburner (If you don't have it already) and setting your own custom fan curve.
  22. As long as the power supply has one 8-Pin PCI-E connector that is required for the MSI Gaming 4G GTX 960 that you'll be getting. 400w should be enough.
  23. Well the AMD FX-6350 is better, but not by much. What's the price difference between the FX-6300 and the FX-6350 for you? If it's less than $10, I woul say it's worth it to get the FX-6350, unless you're really tight on money.
