So, I have the steam version of Manjaro Linux, and the game fails to run. Tried Proton Experimental, Proton GE (latest) and the following commands and combinations of them as recommended on proton DB DXVK_ASYNC=1 %command% STEAM_COMPAT_DATA_PATH="/home/steamdeck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/3955941937" gamemoderun %command%' (the proper path on my machine was assured) MANGOHUD=1 DXVK_HUD=compiler RADV_PERFTEST=gpl gamemoderun %command% I tried installing the EA app (which I managed to install, following this guide https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamDeck/comments/tx6srv/guide_installing_origin_on_the_steam_deck_the/ ) with it being listed on the Steam library. However the game does not run at all, I click the play button and it says running for a few seconds and then it stops and the EA app is not able to see the game install.

Try a software like minitool partition wizard if you are in Windows. Windows might not recognize the filesystems that Linux might use

I've tried this, however, it still doesn't launch. I've done this both in the main folder and in the DX folder, even substituting the dll file D3D12Core.dll with d3d12, even trying to rename it. What could it be?

Hey there! I have a system with a GTX 750ti (28GB of ram, dual xeon quad cores circa 2012). It isn't the most powerful graphics card anymore, however it only isn't able to run Warzone 2.0 due to the lack of Direct X 12 support. Quite a bit back I've heard about running VKD3D on windows to better the performance of some games. Since the 750ti has the support for Vulkan, I wonder whether that could help me actually run the game. How do I do it, is my question. Thanks!

I have a house with a small annex that is detached from it and a few meters away that has now been converted into an extra bedroom and office. I'd like to have internet there, however, there are no internet cables able to go there and neither is a powerline option feasible. It's just a few meters away, however using a wifi extender does not work. Is there a scaled down version of the thing Linus used to get internet to the lab from the Main office possible? Are there any other possible alternatives? (The annex is within sight of the main house, simply like 15 meters away or even less).

I just got an old pc with a second gen i5. It stopped booting. It’s clean, there appears to be no obvious damage. This is what I’ve done in order to try and troubleshoot. The psu is a cheap unit that came included. Since it’s my first desktop, I don’t know whether the psu is supposed to make a small click like noise (more acute, like the one CRT’s sometimes done when turning on) every time I press the power button. I was only able to hear the noise after the system stopped booting because the fans don’t start up at all in any part of the PC so I’m not sure whether it’s normal or not. I tried different combos with the two sticks of ram I have, and still nothing. The motherboard appears to be getting power as an LED lights up. Not the graphics card as I tested the iGPU and still nothing. Any idea what could be the most probable cause? Full specs: i5-3330 8GB Corsair value select ram ddr3 GTX 750 ti intel HD4000 unbranded 500 watt psu ASUS P8H61-M LX3 Plus r2.0

Xserver settings by some motive doesn't run and when I try the " nvidia-settings " command, it says that " An internal driver error occurred"

Hey, I've gotten an old ASUS U36S with intel hd graphics and a GT 610M. I've installed the proprietary NVIDIA drivers on my laptop but by some motive the IGPU is being used instead of the GT610M I'm using Debian 10 with XFCE, any way to force the GT usage? Edit: it’s not a BIOS thing

I’m installing the Epic Games store on a core 2 duo T7500, 4GB of ram and GMA 965 graphics. Supposedly you can install the store on direct x 9, but the app refuses to launch, accusing lack of graphics compatibility, how can I solve this?

well, I'm using some modded drivers that helped me solve some issues. What is strange to me is that the gpu wasn't being utilized

I have installed unturned on my old PC and even though it meets the minimum requirements, it only achieves 2 fps wherever I am. I rock a core 2 duo T7500 running at a whoping 2.2 GHz and MSI afterburner says this is the limiting factor. I have 4 GB de ram an ssd and a powerful gma 965 as my graphics. What is causing so much trouble ?

No, full admin priveleges. The problem consists of me swapping the old hard drive (with the files) and making a fresh instal of windows on the new ssd. In the new and fresh OS I can't access the old files (which are in a usb capsule in the old hard drive)
