  1. Idle here is low 40c  .. low load idle (netflix  FB browsing)  50c ish   "light" gaming below 60c  And when it get punished  it newer goes above 72-75c (Cinebench and so)

     

    stock wraith cooler  no OC  .. 

    With  OC it  got hot fast .. Like really fast .. stock wraith cooler aint made for OC  with R5 3600



     

  2. Stepdad have an old pice of **** PC ... P4.. DDR2..Runs XP .. Only use it for hamradio stuff

    And now its dead again...  "Can you fix it?"  Well ill try -- Promise nothing .. :P

    Soon its his birthday so time for a surprise..
    In his  like 15 years old cabinet we have fitted ..

    MSI b450m pro m.2 (My backup MB)
    Ryzen 3 3200G

    2 x 8GB ripjaws ( from family Think its 3200mhz)
    PNY m.2 SSD 250gb (cheap in local shop)
    1TB seagate barracuda (Also from family)

    Cosair CV550watt PSU (overkill .. But cheap from friend)

    Score in chinebench 1337  😋

    Had to try with CS:GO ..  100FPS.. Smooth and nice (That onboard gpu aint bad !!!)

     

    He is in a wheelchair but like big rigs .. So installed steam and bought Euro Truck sim2 for him .. Runs smooth as silk  

    Now i just have to figure out those hamradio programs made before win 7-8-10 (some are made for win 95 :P :P )

    IMO you'd be better off using each drives separately, one for games, another for personal data or whatever other use you have for them. Because other than maybe loading times, there isn't much benefit for gaming to using Raid.

    Well  had an idea of buyin another PNY m.2  and then raid0 for windows ..  Well  just for the "fun" :P 

    Machine is only gonna be used for games and movies.. Maby photo "fixing"... Have my laptop for personal stuff (travel a lot)

    Then for learn new stuff .. Better fuckup on that machine  than my labtop 

    Just tried the "Storage space" .. And found it .. thx 

    There is just one problem with getting help with windows .. Mine is on Danish.. So names on things dont match up.. Well better install  english next time :D

    Thx .. But think iam good.. Its up running  win 10 .. 

    Had a problem with ram speed.. But some reading i learned  XMP ...  Now 3000mhz  and runninng dual channel 

    Next step .. Figure out how raid0 works


    But DAMT fast machine.  Fastest win install EVER .. 10min :D 

  5. Had PC for many years.. Startede with comedore 64/Amiga 500 (still have both...)

    But like many others i found "other things"  (wife/kids/work)  and computer was a "work tool" and maby a littel gaming  in weekends... 

    Welll now its no kids  no wife  and retired (disabled)  a LOT of time for gaming.. But with a 6 year old  laptop..  Thats no fun ...  So had to build one .. 

    Just one thing .. Last time i build a PC  was when P4 was released.. 


    Well had a little help to find the parts.. 
    Ryzen 5 3600
    MSI x570-A Pro
    PNY CS3030 250GB SSD (NWMe) 
    16gb Cosair  venagence 3000mhz (2x8gb)
    2 x 250gb kingston SSD 
    GTX 1660 Ti (MSI gaming)


    Well think iam ready for a little gaming now :P

  6. Hmm  Well  First one is "Bugsy Malone" .. 100% samoyed.. He is over the rainbow now 😢

    Then we have the "Farm dogs" (2 german sheppards.. Best guard dogs ever for the horses 

    Right now i dont have my own dog.. Bure  sure ill get another samoyed.. Just hard to choose one :P  (me in the blue shirt)

    And last one .. Not a dog.. But just love him
