  1. Project Amber is finished
  2. Here's my build, open to suggestions Specs Aorus Master x570 Ryzen 9 5950x MSI Suprim X 3090 G.Skill 3800 cl14 4x8GB NZXT H510 Elite 2TB nvme m.2 Todo: 1) swap CPU cooler (Mugen 5) for NH-D15S 2) swap front glass with black aluminium mesh
  3. Just swapped my Aorus elite x570 for the master, no more errors, ram at 3600 CL14 with IF at 1800. Seems the 5950x and the RAM are not a good match for the elite. Can't get IF up to 1900 though. RAM does boot at 3800, but performance is a little bit lower due to misalignment of the IF (infinity fabric clock). BIOS is F31q
  4. any news on this? anybody managed to solve this mystery?
  5. lowered by IF clock to 1766 and no WHEA so far, also adjusted memspeed accordingly
  6. Aorus Elite WiFi x570 with BIOS F31o here 5950x no overclock or PBO G.Skill 3800cl14 4x8G (B-die) down-clocked to 3600 otherwise system won't even boot with the XMP profile. ProcODT and Volts have to be set manually. Manually clocking to 1900 IF / 3800 RAM does work but heaps of instability. At 3600 I get around 30 WHEA errors an hour at normal use, no considerable change when running benchmarks. Seems a lot of x570 boards are having this issue.
  7. Solved it - moved to air cooling, aside from no risk of leaks, better performance as well
  8. Hi all, Been having this issue of my pump paddling air and my CPU overheating. Tried several different AiO. Contacted Coolermaster, they said the upcoming case won't have the issue of the pump being higher than the radiator as the case will have a top mounted slot for the radiator. Only idea I found that worked: have the case at a 30% tilt, which makes a huge (40C+) difference. Bit impractical though Aside from going back to an air cooler or a case swap, any ideas? System is less than 1y old, this is a design flaw, company that sold it to me won't take it back.

  10. Congrats all, it's an honor to be a part of this. Celebrating with a nice An Oa. Happy Easter!
  11. tried various combinations, seems my CPU is full on busy with 4x4 arrangement
  12. I split it up in 4x4, seems to help with WU coming in, just have it cooking more if I do
  13. So I was like, why the blup am I getting 54fps in Doom Eternal.... Oh wait
