DAM BOI lol that is crazy...

Once you're out of an apartment, go rooftop solar.  Helps in the winter, cancels AC power usage bills (and more) in summer (and shades the roof in the process, so the AC works less too).  In heavy AC user cases, roof mounted solar generally pays for itself QUICK.

So here are a few highlights from my power bill for most of the event.......maybe I should just donate cash next year? 🤣
(**Important Note** Half my power comes from renewables like solar and wind and half from natural gas, relatively guilt free)
I guess 1000kwh is a small price to pay to save humanity 😄

As you can see, while the AC is running in my 130+ year old apartment with no insulation power is at a premium, it's why I cant participate during the summer events. I started folding in April for the first time, main rig pulls around 430watts off the wall when folding with the 2080 super alone so 1000kWh is probably a conservative estimate at best for all systems that I throw into the Frey. 
 
Main rig is still folding on Idle with the 2080 super, along with one of the 580's during the day, everything else is getting shut down while my finances recover 🙃

Data grab successful, me and bigfoot are watching the launch, will get to validating after that 

Well I won't stop folding apart from some maintenance downtime, I'd be really happy if you guys joined me. The march of scientific progress rests for no ladle or gentlespoon

And that's a wrap people! The third annual folding month has come to a close 

Like the man once said "that's all their is, and their ain't no more!". I will probably drop off a bit on 11/14 too.... A fellow gamer had a complete system failure so I am gutting Spare Parts 2.0 to help a friend in need. It will be replaced with a 2600x, 32 gigs DDR4 3200 cl6 and a B450 and a 1660ti but likely wont be up till its all over.

or was it the fact the MONSTER @ir8munk33Dared to wake up and looks to possibly threaten me for possibly 31st at this rate...but will be a close call for him
 
other wise we seem to be MOOB and spacing out a Mill or so apart which should be good enough to stop the spread of Covid19 except for our two resident bad Kids @Yabdat& @ObscureMammal who are 1-2 failed GPU WUs apart.

guys I have mostly been following from a distance as I have not really been active this folding month (really any folding month, lol) but thanks for the fun comments and repartee to observe from outside

once there is stock the prices will likely drop and thats when i will decide not buying in the first month looking at late December early jan.

5800x is just too overpriced for its performance, If it was around $50 less it might be worth the savings. But for only $100 more, I would totally go for the 5900x. 

The issue has been resolved

Appreciate the offer, but the 3700x is going into Spare parts 1.0 and its 2700x will replace the 1600AF in Spare Parts 2.0 when I do nab a 3900x second hand. I would go with the 5900x but I cant really justify it on a B450. Holding out on the next major overhaul for the next socket. 

lol my 3900x will go in to iZac lol So he can help as much as possible during events though i may have a 2600x or 2 to sell lol.
