    I wonder how this compares to the Sony 4k Short Throw Projector? Nonetheless, it would be awesome to have a projector throw a gigantic image on the wall especially if you don't have the distance in your room.

    I think this is what the market is missing most, there should be more offerings with some sort of demo mode that you can pay for if you really like the game. But steam looks to be heading in the right direction with their refund system. And yes, pirating is still pirating.

    Most people would recommend a Samsung drive, but I have multiple brands and haven't noticed a huge difference in performance or reliability as of yet.

    I have the SanDisk drive and it's amazing, faster than most internal HDDs today on sequentials plus it's great at 4k random writes which is very important. Edit: I'm not sure about Kingston drives, they are reliable but the random performance has been quite weak in my experience with them.

    If you don't mind, I would test it. See if you get better temperatures with it on or off. I would assume it would improve temperatures even if only just a bit.

    Either way you go (970 vs 280), unless you're doing some heavy compute you won't really need the 8g VRAM for a 1080p monitor. Edit: Actually, depending on what application you are using, either card could be better though I don't use GPU acceleration often.
