Ricotta Elmar got a reaction from dogwitch in Amazon... more like SCAMazon
Also , not all scam products is bad, like phone cases and screen protectors, most of the time retail is worse and /or face same defects, im happy with my 5 buck scam screen protector and case  vs a retail one that is 30-40 bucks and break faster ,
cables, well it work if they do, i buy alot of amazon, and sometimes i may even keep the product and get a full refund, because shipping is probably more expansive, well sort off, i bought a electric meat cutter, the blade had a dent and i may keep or while getting a new or full refund

Ricotta Elmar got a reaction from suedseefrucht in lancool 2 mesh (i am kind of dissapointed)
    hey guys,

as of today i got a lan cool mesh 2, ofc i could do some research but i only looked to temprature graphs, so i trusted gamers nexus

now that i transfered all my hw in this case , i noticed a couple things,
    1. the gpu temprature, in my old meshify s2 it was arround 45-46 c and fans rarly spun up in idle stuff like web browsing,
in the lancool 2 mesh the gpu idles at 49-51c and fans spins up witch is not what i expected from a "cool" case witch is high in the temprature charts of gn, it suppose to be cooler than my meshify s2

    2. for the pricetag, no usb-c ok i accepted that and bought it sepparatly ,
    3. it feels and looks cheaper than i expected,
       1. the top i/o pannel fully exposed inside the case and the light makes it more vissibble to,
       2. the fans, they look like they are  from ali express with lian-li sticker on it, and it is not even pasted straight,
       3. top filter is in the way of the rubber pins i use, it also looks cheap,
       4. fans are so tightly screwed in that the bracket got bended abit and even scrached,

i wonder if this case realy performs that well  under load, if it is already 3 degree hotter in idle , i have my doubts,
it do looks beter than  the meshify s2 though,

i use same fan setup , 3 front intake 1 back  and 1 top back exhaust,

i misjudged lian-li, i did not expect this, i think if this turns out worse than my old meshify s2 i return the case and buy a meshify 2 compact instead,
my meshify s2 is well beaten up, scrached,

I know right, but it is kind of within topic,

I now ordered new fans based on your guys informations, and i check how they perform,if im happy i keep them

Well i wanted watercooling to but it limits the freedom,
Its not about being afraid of leaks and stuff, but it makes access to hardware more difficult, and  transporting the case is also more risky ,

Also if iam correct most fans linked  are preasure fans right m not flow fans

Also the al-14 its in the motor not metal in the front they have no reach for metal lol

sweet i done it guys, though fans are still anying but way less i put tripple 30ohm resistors in serial,
abt a drop to 4.85v if i rember coerrectly,
    not pro work but hey,
    i glued them together,
putted heatshrink arround it and cnected them, fan fail don't whine,

good thing this psu starts fans with a boost,
bcause i doubt the fans would spin up witn < 5v

n i guess these resistors would work fine

can do, but i rather go https://www.supermicro.com/en/products/accessories/mobilerack/CSE-M28SACB.php instead,
but since the drive capacity of 2.5" still is 5tb at max, the over 4tb 2.5" are fatter it most likely don't fit ssd is a option but to pricey still
