  1. So far I don't have any real complaints about the g502. I love the way that it feels in hand and can definitely appreciate the easily accessible location of the DPI switches. My only real gripe is that If feel that the "sniper" button is a little too far forward. So when I got the actuate it in game, I have to choke up on the mouse a little to press it. This may not be the case for other users, but with the way that the mouse fills my palm (which is highly comfortable) I just have to adjust to to reach it. It's not the lightest mouse ever, but I don't mind the weight. I tried it with some of the extra 2 gram weights that come with it, but that just made it too heavy for my liking. Hands down, my favorite feature on the g502 is the infinite scroll wheel. It just feels so buttery smooth when scrolling through long pages. Overall, I definitely happy with my purchase.
  2. Well guys, I ended picking up a g502 lightspeed yesterday. I tried out the g903 and the g pro wireless in the store, and I just didn't like the feel of the ambidextrous mice. Something about them just didn't feel as comfortable in the hand as the g502. I'm going to run this one and see how it does. If I end up really liking it, I think I just might have to go back and get one of those powerplay pads so that I never have to worry about charging it again
  3. It looks really nice, but some of the button placement along the left side looks a bit odd to me. I feel like the fleshy part of my hand where the thumb meets the palm would click two of the buttons unintentionally.
  4. I looked at the G903 also, but I personally like the ergonomics of the G502 better. So that's why I was looking into it. And I've always heard good things about the G502 Hero.
  5. I've been using a Razer Deathadder Elite for a while now and I love it, but I've been considering going wireless. When I first started gaming on PC I didn't even notice the cable drag, but recently its become really noticeable when I'm snapping around during intense fights in FPS games. The mouse that has mostly caught my attention is the Logitech G502 Lightspeed. However, I'm seeing a lot of mixed reviews on it. So, I pose the question, what are some solid wireless mouses that are worth looking into? P.S., I've considered trying a mouse bungee, but I don't really have a good spot for it on my desk. Also, in regards to wireless mouses, the price doesn't matter to me. I'm willing to spend the money if the mouse is truly worth it.
  6. I've decided to just hold out for the 3000 series. This late in the game it just makes the most sense. So far I haven't really run into any issues running any games (with the exception of some micro stuttering in Witcher 3), so I should be just fine until then. I was actually shocked to see that Far Cry 5 was utilizing both cards when I started playing it recently, so no complaints there.
  7. To be honest, that's one thing that I was considering. Waiting on the 3000 series that is. I just wasn't sure how this pandemic would effect the launch.
  8. A few months ago I built my first gaming rig, and decided to stuff it with an R7 3700x paired with two GTX 1080 FE in SLI. I got a stupid good deal on the pair of cards with the high bandwidth bridge thrown in. But as of late I've found myself at a bit of a crossroad. After doing some research I've found out that while SLI can be fun, it has some caveats. So the question I'm posing is this...considering that I got a really good deal on the cards that I have, should I stick with them? Or should I upgrade to a RTX 2080ti and sell my current cards? And for either choice, please explain why I should go that route. Thanks!
  9. I ended up setting a custom fan curve for the AIO fans, and so far the temps have been really good. Typically at idle the temps are around 40°C; so no complaints there. As for the GPU temps, I can't really speak much on that. I am currently running two GTX 1080 FE in SLI, so my temps will probably look a little different from yours. Especially if you're only using a single card, and even more so if your are using a custom card. But, just in case your interested, after setting a custom curve on the GPU fans, I typically see temps around 78°C in games that are less intensive. However, in games that are more intensive, the the primary card still goes all the way to 82°C where it starts throttling. In regards to the H100i, its a really good cooler. But, if you can swing it, I would recommend going with a 280mm AIO (And, yes...it will fit in the front of the H510) over the 240mm. You should see a little better temps and price difference between the two is small. I only bought the 240mm so that I could try push/pull with some LL120 fans that I already had installed in the front of the case. Which ended up not working out to well anyways because the cable management bar in the H510 prevented me from installing a top pull fan on the rad.
  10. Recently ran across this band and have been jamming to them.
  11. Sounds like a solid plan to me. And considering the price of the Magni and Modi combined, that makes them even more appealing. I have spare optical cables laying around, so I'm good to go on that front. I think that just may be the way I go.
  12. As I just stated, I was looking at going with the Schiit stack combining the Magni 3 Heresy and the Modi 3. What would be the benefit of going with the Hel over the stack?
  13. After doing a little more research, I kind of like the idea of going with a Schiit stack, using the Magni 3 Heresy coupled with the Modi 3. From what I've seen, the dt990 has a bass boost compared to the dt880. How significant is the difference? Also, what causes the dt990 not to sound good with the Schiit stack?
  14. Thanks! That does drop the price quite significantly. I do however have one final question. Once I have the amp and DAC in hand, how do I go about sitting the two up? Do they link together and then the DAC connects via USB?
  15. Sweet! After doing a little research, all of that sounds great to me. Based on what you've said here, it looks like for my use case the best combination would be the dt 990 pros paired with the Liquid Spark and the e30. All together they come out to $377 which is perfect. The only snag I ran into is that the Liquid Spark was listed as a Monolith product and not a Monoprice (as shown below). Is this still the correct amp?
