I fixed it, i flashed the bois and put it into recovery mode and it booted fine and its all working

Yeah, there is no display, although my monitor does pick up that there is a signal.

The motherboard is an intel DQ77MK, and there is no bios reset switch. I took out the battery once for ten minutes, but i have read an article that you should leave it out for a while(1 hour our more).

I had the 'Media Test Failure' message appear when booting, so i tried to fix the problem by changing the boot mode from Legacy to UEFI. After i did this my computer restarted and would not post, although all the components started up including the HDD which i changed it on. I have already checked ram and taken out the motherboard battery for a good 10 mins. This is also a brand new system that i had booted for the first time yesterday.
