Hi there,
I have a 2080 Super with brand new thermal pads (Gelid solutions 1,5mm) and Noctua NH2 thermal paste. In idle, the GPU stays at about 35°, but as soon as I launch a game the temps skyrocket to 85° and remain steady there, with fans spinning at about 80% (annoying). Once in a while temps go above 85° and fans spin at 100%, but just for a few seconds. Overall, I can game for hours at these conditions, but the high temps still annoy me. Before replacing the thermal pads it never reached those temps. I tried to re-apply the paste and thigten the screws as much as possible (maybe the thermal pads are too thick?) But to no avail. Any ideas? Thanks!
