  1. I am using an HP ProBook 455 G8 laptop and it's connected to an external monitor using the type C port on the laptop via a hub to the HDMI port on the monitor. Normally I often use Second screen only mode to use the external monitor. When I shut down or hibernate and then turn it back on to use it, my external display is still displayed as it was before I turned it off. But a few days ago, when I turned on the computer, suddenly the laptop screen appeared instead of the external screen even though I had previously left it in Second screen only mode. Then I tried to unplug the type C cable from the computer and plug it back in. Everything is normal, but every time I turn off the computer or hibernate, the above situation still happens, and I have to unplug and plug it back in, which is very annoying. I tried resetting Windows, but it still didn't fix it and I don't know where the problem lies. More than a week ago, I updated the bios, but after the update, everything was normal for the next few days until the above problem appeared. Hope someone can help me.
  2. My laptop doesn't support the above so it's definitely not turned on
  3. I am using a usb-c hub to connect my laptop to a QHD monitor and have 2 mouse and keyboard dongles plugged into the hub. Initially, I plugged 2 dongles into the hub and the HDMI cable into the port on the laptop, everything was fine, the problem occurs when I plug the HDMI cable into the hub, the mouse pointer starts to show signs of freeze or lag, sometimes they work normally. The keyboard also has the same disordered signs but the frequency is very low, rarely. When I unplugged the cable, everything was fine. I'm trying to change to another HDMI cable instead of the current one, but I don't know if that will work. Hope someone can tell me the cause and how to fix it. Thanks P/s: I'm using Logitech G304 and ikbc W200
  4. When I connect the laptop to the external monitor in extended mode, the taskbar on the laptop screen occurs as shown in the video (video is in the link below) while the external monitor does not. I tried switching to other display modes and all do not encounter the above situation. Hope someone knows what's wrong with it P/s: I'm using HP Probook 455 G8 https://drive.google.com/file/d/1YsCyDIiJVf1D4pwUMeqz7SwtWzpwpdNl/view?usp=sharing
  5. I have a QHD monitor using it in extended mode with my laptop. Today I suddenly noticed that the bottom half of the screen is a bit hot, sometimes warm. I'm running it at the highest resolution. So is that normal?

    Can't reach 75hz

But my integrated graphics is RX Vega 7 on R5 5600U, is there any difference between them?
  7. I just bought a 2k 75hz monitor, to connect to the Probook 455 G8. Everything is fine except I don't understand why the monitor refresh rate is only 60hz. I'm currently connecting to the monitor using the included HDMI cable and I'm using both the laptop and the monitor at the same time. Hope someone can answer for me
  8. Today I found these two options in Processor power management but I don't know what they do on the laptop. I've tried searching on Google but the info is pretty vague. Hope someone can explain it to me. Thanks
  9. I have a Viewsonic VX2780-2K monitor but it does not have a USB-C port while my laptop has a USB-C port (supports PD and display port), I am planning to buy an additional expansion hub but don't know if I plug from the laptop's C port to the hub's C port and then plug in an HDMI cable from the hub to the monitor, will the monitor be able to supply power to charge my laptop, please help me
  10. I have an HP Probook 455 G8 laptop, recently I needed to find a screen for learning and entertainment, have an LG 29WP60G that fits my needs and pockets but I wonder if my laptop can export images at 2560x1080 resolution of this screen

  12. I bought an HP Probook 455 G8, after using it for a short time, I noticed that it made a rather small rattling sound when I put my ear to the bottom of the laptop. At first I thought it was the fan, but when the fan is not spinning, the sound is still present. Until recently I noticed that the sound is coming from the RAM slot, everything is working fine but the sound bothers me a bit. Will they affect the device and is there a way to fix it?
  13. I was looking for a mouse for my laptop and I chose these two: Harpoon RGB Wireless and Rival 3 Wireless because their price fits my budget. But I do not know if using Li-Po batteries on Harpoon or removable batteries on Rival 3 will be better and which ones are less likely to have connection problems?
