  1. Update: I got a new symptom, I am performing render tasks that are cpu taxing and now gpu taxing, but the display still turns off.
  2. If you mean the power cables, you have to, if you mean there's a cable that removes the CMOS battery no
  3. No, But you have two options you can do the pins or the battery that I circled for you, push to the side the tab on the left and the battery should pop out
  4. Yes, from the computer on the back, but not from the motherboard. Just on the back of the computer, unplug the cables. I also don't get the picture
  5. just unplug the computer, it does the same thing
  6. Not all motherboards are the same, the battery is a safer bet
  7. I can't promise it will be in the same place, but it will look exactly the same
  8. That's my CMOS battery on my motherboard, push on the tab that you can see on the right of the battery to take it out
  9. Reinstalling the game might help too, since you did a hard reset when the computer stopped working. It might be that some of the data on the hard drive got corrupted. Minimally but enough to degrade performance.
  10. Try taking out that CMOS battery, I talked about it when I explained how to get into the BIOS in another comment. And if that doesn't work try messing with the 3-d options in the control panel by setting the settings to performance
