    Try with another screwdriver or metal object. I have seen in the past someone use a screwdriver which had a non-conductive end which of course did not work.
    If you follow the exact steps in the picture I posted, with a conductive screwdriver it should work.

    Have you tried resetting the BIOS using these exact steps:

     
    There is no 'battery method' in resetting the BIOS.
