Who's telling you it could fry your computer?

Technically any bad piece of hardware could fry other hardware in your computer. It would be the first time I've heard anyone claim a Wi-Fi card being a common culprit. We don't see frequent complaints of PCI_e devices frying computers. Usually it's the PSU itself.

Now this is just a rumor, but i heard that if you're a good kid and you do your homework everyday the rx480 will come to life at night when no one is looking and play fornite for you and boost your gamerscore.

joking aside i don't understand your question. do you mean if you're able to do other things than gaming? like video editing or streaming? depending on what you're other specs are i'm pretty sure you can do those.

it had a nice and long run, just bury it in the backyard and give her a proper funeral. everyone in the forum will light a candle for your loss.

this dude pretty much did the thing. only thing i advice is that don't take anyone's words for a case, just make sure you get a relatively big one, specially if it's your first time building one and since you might wanna add more storage in the future.

all of my components have arrived except for the ssd

decided to put it together for now until the ssd arrives and i gotta say, i could've bought a better case. cable management in that case was a nightmare.

for whoever is deciding on a budget build, don't cheap out too much on the case.

also i kind of panic bought the cpu, was going to go for the 2600 but at the time of purchase they were going for 140$ and that same day i saw linus video on the fore coming shortages on components so i bought the 2600x instead at the listed price.
the next 3 days the 2600 went back down to 119.99. pretty sad about that. but oh well. live and learn.
