  1. Same here, but I did get the Silentwing 3 (x2) as intake and it is not quieter by any stretch. IMO it just have the posibility of getting even louder than the purewing. Don't get me wrong tho! There are silent until approx. 55%-60% but pass that !! They are as loud as the purewing or maybe even worst.

    With that said :

'' I went on Noctua's site and I don't understand if their redux serie is only package redux or also quality redux ?''

Their Redux line-up use their SSO bearings instead of the SSO2 (upgraded version). The package will comme with the fan and screws. No spliters, no vibration pads and the most obvious : grey on grey. (I have nf-p12 and nf-p12 redux and imo, their the same but a bit louder at high rpm)

'' Is there any point to put noctua's LNA adapters between fans and a PWM fan hub ? ''

Yes as it will reduce the max speed, therefore the sound.

I don't have answer to the 2nd one but I'd guess you'd be ok since I do it and my pc didn't explode. BUT i don't have an real explanation for you on that one.

And for what I would do ? as much as a noctua lover that I am, there aren't cheap. So I went on the P14 (by arctic) route to see if it's any brighter there.

    Hope it help.

I would not recommend a passive cooler for a case that is starved for airflow, it's not like a GT 1030 would be loud anyway but a fan would help ensure that it's performing properly, and I'm very aware that it doesn't consume much power but it is designed with case-airflow in mind

it will be in a deepcool matrexx 30 with 2x120mm intake and 1x120mm exhaust. should be plenty of airflow here! 💨 be quiet! silentwing for those who wanna know. If anything happen over 80°c i'll look for something else.

  3. hi guys, I have a friend who have been given an old lenovo m78 slim pc. He came to me asking for upgrades. I had a ryzen 1600 for him and he really want to have it. The thing is that it isn't an apu! so we need a video/Graphics card. He only work and do web browsing on this pc. He will only use Microsoft office, do some Facebook and some youtube. Want should we get im in a $100-$150 range that is worth buying?

btw I'll upgrade the mobo to a am4 m-atx, so yes the cpu will fit haha

  4. I heard that freesync would cap my 1070ti at max 60hz.

    1. Is it true

    2. Is a 120hz w/freesync better than a 120hz w/o freesync (with a 1070ti)

    3. What should I be looking for or I want to play games but not at an e-sport standard haha I won't be playing shooter online so I dont need a crazy refresh rate.

    Thx !!!

  5. Hey guys, I have a zotac 1070ti amp edition paired with a Ryzen 5 3600x. Long story short, I wanted to buy another 1070ti and SLI, but figured out my mobo only support AMD's crossfire. The thing is that I am a green team (nvidia) guy since my first pc and never really been attracted to red team (amd) since now because of my motherboard and cpu.

I need your help with this :

I'm I better with my single used zotac1070ti amp edition

    OR

buy 2x asus strix rx 580 8g and but them in crossfire.

Thanks for your help guys !

  6. Hey guys, just changed my stock wraith spire for my gammaxx 400 (in push) because god that this thing's noisy! Now i'm at 73°c max temp after 30min. of 100% load.

Tho, I find it a bit high compared to the 66°c I had on my i5-4670k@stock with the same gammaxx.

Question is : I'm I just freaking out or should i get a better cooler since I want to oc the 3600x?

    Same case/airflow for both cpus

be quiet! Silent Base 600 with

    2x140mm intake

    2x140mm out the top

    1x 120mm out back

    1x 120mm in bottom

(all be quiet! fans at 1000rpm)

  7. Hey guys !! Im kind of the new guy here and was wondering some things. I upgraded my mobo (b450-A pro max), cpu (Ryzen 3600x) and GPU (1070ti/had a huge deal on it from a close friend) and was wondering if my GPU will be going to bottleneck my CPU.
