Hi, In Spain, Movistar (Daughter to Telefónica.) has started Linking new homes (that previously never had internet) with fiber optic cables from ISP to the house then Directly to the router (no copper at all). I am wondering if this is common elsewhere as I know this is a completely foreign concept to the rest of Europe (like Britannia and Germany) Here are some photos to help you comprehend what I am saying.
