I have an ASUS ROG Maximus XI Hero, alongside an RTX2080TI
as i have build this rig for gaming and media editing, this works amazing with my 9900K
but lately i'm thinking of installing Hackintosh into the system, and as web drivers for the GPU aren't available, i will have to add another card
Question here, if i installed another AMD Radeon VII on the second PCI slot, and set the motherboard to load the RTX when booting Windows and the AMD when booting Mac, will i lose speed this way ?
will i always be using X8 speed with that setup ??
or will i have X16 as only one card is chosen from the motherboard bios screen??
i actually don't want to physically unplug the power cables from the GPU and plug the other one every time i have to switch, i was just thinking of different profiles for different boot OS, as each OS will be on a separate M.2 Slot
