  1. I JUST NEED THAT SINGLE-THREADED PERFORMANCE. I NEEEED IT! In all seriousness, I need this for a build in which a friend asked for this CPU.
  2. I've been watching that last one but with 45 watchers it will probably go sky high.
  3. I have had difficulty trying to find one of these below $330 even used. Do you guys know any sites or places that I missed? Thanks in advance for the replies!
  4. True. It transferred over just fine. I will continue to use it as a throw-away drive until it fails. Thanks!
  5. Just through the USB 3.1 port. I also tried it on my desktop with the same result. I won't keep any important info on it from now on. I just hope it doesn't break in the middle of the transfer.
  6. Thanks for the reply. I am very happy that it will last me for quite a while longer. It is a bit odd that my S.M.A.R.T data isn't reporting because I have this connected directly into my laptop.
  7. So I was checking out the CrystalDiskInfo application (like you do) and I noticed that my trusty flash drive was DEAD and there wasn't any read or write info for it to show. Or so the application said. In a panic, I wrote 5GB's of files to it and it worked like a dream. Is there something wrong with CrystalDiskInfo or is there something I don't know about. Thanks in advance!
  8. I got my computer about a month ago, and CrystalDiskInfo says that I have read a whopping 22.12TB to it! That means that my average is about 40/GB an hour. This is, in my mind, just from normal use. Share a screenshot of how many GB's you have read/written to your drive and what your average is. I can't wait to see if someone can beat my average!
  9. I am building a PC to sell and I wanted to get feedback about how much usage would remove the "new" value. I was thinking about 24 hours of ontime before a buyer would consider it a used product? Thanks in advance!
  10. I can eat about 6 before I tap out. How many can you eat?
  11. I used the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility to undervolt my modest CPU to -0.165V. I did this about 30 minutes ago and it has been running fine so far. I did a couple of stress tests on it and it performed much better than before. Is this stable or should I pull back a bit on the voltage? I don't have much experience with undervolting but I did some research and I think this is a fairly good voltage for this CPU. Let me know your thoughts and concerns.
