shadowss got a reaction from Psittac in Wireless headset
again have tried detachable cables and headset with non detachable cables before many times and no matter what the cable always end up breaking even the charging cable on this headset is partially broken to the point where the metal is exposed so for me wireless is better and i also found it less annoying to not have a cable that goes infront of me or goes in the way constantly
so again im very sure i would want a wireless headset again for the simple reason for my usecase its just better and easier for me to take care of after all the amount of time i had this equal to the amount of time i usually had around 3 different other headsets
a thing there would also happen with headsets would be i would forget there was a cable or that i had a headset on and sometimes just yank out the cord or pull the cord tightly this has happen many times with other headsets never really happen with this cause well its wireless

shadowss got a reaction from Contreramanjaro in Fans in computer being very loud
think either the aio wasen't seated properly cause i could unscrew the aio with my hands or the cooling paste was dried out or too much of it cause it was a little dry and also spread out on the entire cpu and a little down the sides of it too
but its now when i stress tested it its now running on a max of around average of 67 C 75-80 C under full load where before max was around 95-100 C average of 90 C

It will help people in giving you a more informed answer if you include:
1. What Cooler you're using for the CPU. Yes it's an AIO, but there's various sizes of AIO, and not all AIO is good. Not to mention old AIO might lose enough liquid in them or like the pump went bad.
2. What PC case you're using. Since all kinds of fans or whatever is pretty much useless if the PC case is a closed off glorified oven box.

This is a good point. I bought a used PC with an AIO and the block went bad a year or so later. It was an Enermax, so hardly a surprise. I need to fix up that X79 PC... I could find something to with it it.

shadowss got a reaction from dogwitch in Good solution for backup of videos
it is gaming videos and shorts usually the videos are about 1-3 hours long cause they are from her stream her laptop is technically 2 drive but one of them is a NVME so she already have 2 drives in it
was thinking either to get a 3 tb seagate barracuda or go for a firecuda for her would that be a wise idea or would you have a better idea we do have an external hard drive that has to be thrown out cause its starting to corrupt files could i just take the convert from there and attach a new hard drive to it ?

shadowss got a reaction from dogwitch in Good solution for backup of videos
She is trying to store unedited videos so she can edit them and then mainly completed videos so you would recommend we just get 1 HDD as big as possible to put the videos on we can't really install it in her pc cause its a laptop but we can install it in mine instead

shadowss got a reaction from dogwitch in Good solution for backup of videos
Hello im looking for a solution to backup videos for video editing
So to give a little context I'm trying to help my fiancée find a good affordable option for her to backup her videos she is making for youtube she nearly just started making videos and wanted to back them up cause well her drive is running low fast
I know you can use a NAS, an external hard drive and cloud storage not sure if there is other valid options but I'm looking for a good affordable option to use for it in the long run i do have around 200 dollars at max to use on storage for her so could anyone be nice to help me find a good solution within this price range of course cheaper would be very appreciated
Thank you very much for your time
