    My monitor is the problem, its locked at 60hz over HDMI

    I read the thread but I'm still unsure, do I need to buy a DVI to HDMI port to get 120 hz or do I need a converter? Sorry for the late reply, the whole covid thing messed up our internet here where I live.

    I have this ACER GN246HL (144hz) and GL552VW laptop. I was just wondering if my laptop can support 120hz? I just don't wanna play on 60fps anymore. I really don't know much about these kind of things I'm still learning.
