  1. Today I noticed that at my monitor, at the top right there is a spot where the backlight is weaker than in the rest of the monitor (Image attached). I'm 100% that this issue is from today or from yesterday. What could cause this and (how) can I get rid of it? I've already seen a bug walking behind the glass of the monitor, would it be possible that a bug got in the backlight and stuck there?
  2. What can I do about this then. I didn't buy a prototype card, I paid good money for it.
  3. My setup: Ryzen 5 2600X G.Skill RipJaws V 3200Mhz 16 GB (2x 8GB) RX 5700 XT ASRock B450M Pro4 I have multiple weird issues with my Graphics Card. First of all, some reflections look really odd in multiple games, most notably Resident Evil 3 and Fortnite. Here is a video of what I mean. I have not found any explanation for this yet. Sometimes my screen just goes black for about 6 seconds or so. I used to think this only happens when I use freesync, but this is not the case. My screen really works fine 99% of the time, but for some reason this blackscreen happens in EVERY Fortnite match I play, usually when I drop out of the battle bus. Tried another HDMI cable, no difference. The next issue I'm facing is that my GPU is not correctly utilized in some games, such as Assasins Creed Origins and Fortnite. My GPU just sometimes chills between 50 and 80% and FPS are sometimes below 50. This is absolutely unacceptable for a RX 5700 XT. https://imgur.com/a/Lgs3szz Here are some screenshots that show what I mean. No, VSync is not on, FPS are uncapped and Radeon Chill is off. The CPU is also not fully utilized, not a single core of it. I already send the GPU back and got a new one - no difference at all. So I hope you might be able to help me.
  4. The game is up to date. I updated the GPU drivers and that didn't change anything.
  5. It doesn't change if I don't move my mouse. https://streamable.com/ewo5gf Yes it's running at 100% resolution with native 1080p. Originally it was set to 2160p supersampling, not sure why. I changed it immediately. There is a settting called FidelityFX / Upscaling, however it makes absolutely no difference wheather it's on or off.
  6. No, RE3 is max and Fortnite is on High
  7. This happens in multiple games, notably Resident Evil 3 and Fortnite. I have a RX 5700 XT. Does anyone know why this happens and what I should do about it? Here's a video of what I mean. https://streamable.com/5nr3gz
  8. My BIOS was already on the latest version but I downgraded it to an older version because the latest one doesn't officially support my CPU for some reason.
  9. Yes running in dual channel with xmp at 3200 mhz.
  10. My newly built PC has issues with some games. My GPU never reaches 100% and my CPU neither. I'm taking Assasin's Creed Origins as example. I sometimes (depending on the place) get only 40-50 FPS. This shouldn't be the case with my setup. The GPU is only utilized around 60% at 1080p high. The CPU is also around 50-60% utilization. Some CPU cores rarely go over 60% but not a single CPU core exceeds 80%. The weird thing is that I can set my res to 4K (3840x2160) and the frame difference is barey there. Fortnite is my seconds example. I get much better FPS with this, but my frames are dropping quite often. Most of the time I stay at 110-144 FPS but the frames sometimes drop down to 50 FPS sometimes. This is really annoying and this shouldn't be the case with my hardware, plus it's not using 100% of the GPU or CPU. No bullshit like frame caps or V-Sync. Chipset and GPU drivers are installed and up to date. Specs: Ryzen 5 2600X RX 5700XT ASRock B450M Pro4 RipJaws V 16 GB (2x 8GB) 3200 MHZ be quiet! Pure Power 11 500W
