  1. I cleaned everything when i installed the new keyboard, but the problem is still there...
  2. Hello guys, ive an old samsung n145 that hasnt been used for a couple of years. The probles is that some keys on the keyboard dont works, ive already tried with an USB keyboard and it works perfectly. Ive also bought a replacement keyboard and installed it, but now the old keys works but new ones dont, can it be a mainboard problem, or the replacement keyboard is defective aswell?
  3. Honestly ive never had troubles with updates until now, anyway im on a fresh installation that has 20h2 built in so i cant uninstall anything. The only way i guess is to find an older iso and install that without update to the new one...
  4. So seems like the problem is related to the 20H2 update, ive fired up an old pc with a not updated windows 10 installation (pre 20H2) and the speeds were perfect. Then i updated the PC to the 20H2 and here we go again with the truncated speed... Not sure is if its solvable with my limited knowledge on networking so ill look for a workaround.
  5. Windows is updated at the latest version, now for troubleshooting purposes ive installed a ubuntu vm on my windows system, and i passed the card as NAT: this is windows speed test this is the vm speed test things are getting pretty weird...
  6. Ive used both windows and D-Link driver and the problem is still here, it also happened with the other usb dongle and with a previous windows installation, im starting to think that is some kind of windows bug but honestly i dont know hot to troubleshoot it...
  7. Ive used a ubuntu live os and i can confirm that it works perfectly, i can reach 30mb/s when on windows i barely reach 5mb/s...
  8. So ive performed some test on speedtest, all on the same server: Win DOWN 30/40 up: 7 Android DOWN 30 up 16 Ubuntu(laptop wifi card) DOWN 35 UP 15 Ubuntu(dongle) DOWN 35 UP 15 So clearly the problem seems to be Windows here for some reasons, interesting is the fact that before using my dongle i used my phone USB hotspot and without tether app like PDAnet my speed was bad too. Now the router im connecting to is a Huawei B535-232 connected to internet with LTE with an unlimited DATA plan included tethering.
  9. Im gonna try on my laptot with ubuntu, do u know any way to measure if the speed is costant?
  10. Hello guys, ive a new wifi dongle for my desktop a dlink dw182 it works good except for the upload speed that is like 1/4 of what it should be, bandwidth is always 585mb or 650mb so it should be enough to reach 30mbps that i measure with my phone one the same location. Drivers are up to date and ive also tried another dongle (fritz ac860) that gave me the same exact problem. Ive also reinstalled windows 10 to be sure it wasnt something on my system but the problem is still here, can it be a windows compatibility problem with the router?
  11. Yeah i can, it also works on grooves but it doesnt work on powerpoint, and open the file in another app is very time consuming and makes the slideshow following almost impossible...
  12. Hello guys, im having problem on reproducing m4a on windows media player on my pc, the file works on other PCs but it refuses to open on mine. Ive also installed the KLite Mega Codec Pack but it still doesnt work. I need WMP to works cuz the file comes from a PowerPoint slideshow and WMP is the default PPT media player so ofc it doesnt work on powerpoint too. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled WMP from app and functionalities but it didnt solve the problem, what can i do to make it works?
  13. Hello guys, ive an unlimited LTE data plan and im trying to u se it the more i can since is much faster than my home connection, i am using an LTE modem (HUAWEI B535) placed in one room to achieve best LTE signal and im using my phone connected with wifi 5GHz to the modem and with usb to my pc. The normal USB tethering feature is really slow and i cant understand exactly why, also if i try to change driver in Win10 it reaches big speed but the PC crashes with a BSOD very often. If i use apps like PDANET it works perfectly except for a connection crash every like 30mins, that causes my downloads to fail everytime. As phone im using a OnePlus 6, is there anything i can try to at least debug the problem?
  14. Yes ram on 2 and 4, xmp enabled but ive also tried with it disabled, bios updated , and chipset drivers updated. Just to be sure ive updated them again today but the problem is still here.
  15. Hello guys, im having a micro freezing problem on my system, it happens randomly, doesnt matter if im at full load or idling and it last like half a second, everything freeze and the audio becomes robotic. Im having this problem since ive changed my CPU, from a ryzen 1600 to a 3600x. In the past i thought it was some kind of incompatibility between my old MB ( gigabyte ab350m gaming 3) and the new CPU, but since then ive basically changed my whole system. Im now running: CPU: Ryzen 5 3600x stock MB : MSI x570 gaming plus RAM:2x8gb crucial ballistix 3600mhz GPU: 2080ti PSU: Seasonic platinum prime 550W HDD : 2 sata HDDs and 2 sata SSDs everything is new except for the disks, now im wondering if one of them can be the problem, ive used latencymon and it seems to indicate that im having problems with interrupts: Ive reinstalled windows many times , and im on latest drivers for basically everything on the system, ive also used DDU to be sure it wasnt caused by gpu and ive also tried a 1080ti and the problem still persist. Is there anything else that i can try to isolate the problem? Can one of the disk cause such high interrupt times? Or is the CPU defective?
