tdkid got a reaction from da na in Can my 4070 handle 4k?
i have an EVGA 2070 super FTW3 ultra+ and it can handle 4k easily so i would say your 4070 will have no issues.

tdkid got a reaction from juan dionisio in MOTHER BOARD ORANGE LIGTH
your board is fine. on the box where it says "high qaulity onboard audio design" it says that it has LED audio trace lighting. so that orange light is the path the audio signal takes and to where. you might be able to go into BIOS or the RGB light control for the board if you want to turn it off.

tdkid got a reaction from RevGAM in [Help] ARGB Controller not recognized
if you dont have an ARGB header then you cant control the RGB as far as i can tell. the A is for addressable or controllable RGB. without that header, you just have what amounts to LEDs in a case. again as far as i can tell.

tdkid got a reaction from ano_os11 in Upside down aio cooler
the AIO has no set orientation that it has to be in. its just not as effective to have it most ways other than the rad at the top of the case and unless you plan on using those other two RAM slots (i wouldnt) then there is no issue with having it like how it is in the manual. the main thing is how are the temps?

tdkid got a reaction from da na in TV vs PC monitor
i am fucking done i am just done several people on here have pissed me off because they are too fucking stupid. how in the holy fucking hell does "the height of this 12" tall TV is 12" and this 24" tall TV is 24"" translate to "you are talking about aspect ratios" NO I AM NOT and i am fucking tired of being told that is what i mean when i have said several times no its not what i am talking about stop talking about it, why are you still talking about it over and over again. YES i know the aspect ratiro correspond to TV size in that a 13" TV from 20 years ago will not have the same aspect ratio or color qaulity as a mondern TV, that is not what this topic has been about and never has been. it was simply "can a PC monitor be used as a TV screen" and i have gotten severla answers of yes it can, so its been answered. i just said that that 42" ultra wide monitor was not as tall as a 42" TV screen so it would be harder to see from a distance and that is where you and the other person started talking about aspect ratios.

tdkid got a reaction from da na in TV vs PC monitor
it doesnt matter because i have not nor have i ever been talking about the aspect ratios of the TVs.
-
tdkid got a reaction from da na in TV vs PC monitor
no. what i have been saying is that if you put a TV like this next to a TV like this https://www.newegg.com/samsung-cu8000-43/p/1CS-001X-00018?recaptcha=pass then you will notice the physical size difference. even though these two tvs are 20 years apart the aspect ratios are the same.

tdkid got a reaction from da na in TV vs PC monitor
you too? does no one here speak or understand english? i am getting real tired of repeating myself from people who think i said something different when i didnt. what i said once again is talking about the PHYSICAL SIZE of the displays NOT the aspect ratios of them. yes i know you can change the aspect ratios on the screen to change the view of what you are seeing on it but that once again is no what i have been talking about. so can we please stop talking about aspect ratios as it literally has nothing to do with topic.

you have your answer now but jaystwocents made a video about adding an LCD screen to the case.

tdkid got a reaction from Mark Kaine in I only get 34k cinabench with a 13900k
well the 13900 is a hot running CPU but 85-90 seems like your cooling is not working as well as it should be. maybe reapply the thermal paste. as a suggestion.

tdkid got a reaction from RevGAM in LCD for AIO
yeah i looked into it more after my comment and they are different connectors. but these icue link LCDs will not ship out in Q3 since we are in it and almost to Q4. the Qs are Q1 Jan-Mar, Q2 Apr-June. Q3 July-Sept, and Q4 Oct-Dec.

tdkid got a reaction from freeagent in TV vs PC monitor
there literally is no difference at all. they say they 120 is a better refresh rate and therefor its better but they lie. we all know its the RGB that adds the frames to win games.

tdkid got a reaction from RevGAM in Thermal Paste
i hear toothpaste does really well. LOL
but being serious. thermal grizzly is what i have been told is one of the better ones.havent really tested any myself as i have not removed my thermal paste from 5 years ago and my CPU temps are around 30-40 at the most.

tdkid got a reaction from freeagent in TV vs PC monitor
not sure if you are joking or not with the emoji but this is actually what i do except my TV is from like 10 years ago so its not 4k but looking into getting a 4k one soon if i can get a great deal .

tdkid got a reaction from RevGAM in thermal paste on CPU coolers
thanks guys. i will look into these and sorry for the past messages on my cyber security post. i was not having the best day and just really needed some validation in what i thought was right was correct which you guys went against me and it made me feel a little worse so i lashed out a little. i no longer deal with what caused that and i feel so much better now so thank you for putting up with me.

tdkid got a reaction from RevGAM in cooler suggestions
well no one really cares about the temps, they care about the RGB as RGB adds frames and frames win games. LOL

tdkid got a reaction from BroadSTBeast in Is it safe to leave an HDMI cable plugged in from GPU to TV while using a different monitor with the TV powered off?
solved already but there is no issue with having more than 1 monitor plugged in and switching back and forth. i have my computer, a couple of gaming consoles and my TV box all plugged into my TV and i have had no issues at all for the past several years i have been using this used when i go it TV and i swap to different inputs all the time.

tdkid got a reaction from Tan3l6 in Cloning nvme m.2
i haven't tried it myself so i have no idea what I am talking about but for USB flash drives, all you have to do is highlight what you want, right-click to copy (ctrl+c), go to the other drive, and right-click to paste (crtl+v) the info. so no additional hardware or software is needed. but like I said I have no idea what I am talking about so I don't know if it's this easy to do or not with m.2s that are on the same board.

tdkid got a reaction from Vishera in GPU Exhausts Hot Air Unto NVME Drive, Is That a Problem?
on all GPUs, you would actually have to see which way the fans are spinning to know if they are exhausting or intaking the air from inside the case. either way it would be cooling your m.2 because it would either be sucking the hot air from the m.2 or blowing it away. you should be fine
