Oh LOL well isn't that just the strangest coincidence

Why make that assumption? And no, it's not me. Why the hell would I come here for that kind of drama, having previously left messages in here for the clear sake of learning, if I were only looking for drama? Seriously, where did you get that I am sillyrabbid from any of that?

Another day, another crapfest on SlickDeals about how this tier list sucks. :V Luke, you wanna get in on this one?

Graphics Card (Cooling/VRM) Tier List (Navi Update)
MrIronGolem27 replied to LukeSavenije's topic in Graphics Cards
Is there any website with large collections of temperature data for specific cards? I'm trying to look that up for the one-fan 16XX cards but I can't seem to find anything specific with either the name or the model number in the search bar.- 375 replies

Graphics Card (Cooling/VRM) Tier List (Navi Update)
MrIronGolem27 replied to LukeSavenije's topic in Graphics Cards
Thanks for the response! Yes, I see those listed. However, as you know is the case with EVGA's particularly atrocious product line segmentation with their graphics cards and power supplies, that means a lot of their cards have extra words on them. I take it that I could have completely ignored those in the context of this list's rankings? In that case, I see that these cards all rank roughly equal in terms of thermals, as I should have expected but still wanted to confirm anyway. I know what 6-pin and 8-pin power is, as well as I/O slot thickness and heatsink slot thickness. I was not asking for clarification about what features these are, only to confirm that these were the differences.- 375 replies

Graphics Card (Cooling/VRM) Tier List (Navi Update)
MrIronGolem27 replied to LukeSavenije's topic in Graphics Cards
Thanks! Anyone else know about the EVGA GTX 1660 Black Gaming/XC Black Gaming/XC Gamingsingle-fan cards? https://www.anandtech.com/show/14071/nvidia-gtx-1660-review-feat-evga-xc-gaming/ Looks like the XC Gaming is the only model reviewed here but the differences between the models appears to be 2.75 vs 3 PCIe slot thickness, a slight clock speed difference, and 6-pin vs 8-pin power? The 1660 list only refers to "Gaming" EVGA 1660 cards as E-tier but these only seem to run relatively rather than absolutely hot? Then again, I don't know what typical GPU temperatures should look like. lol- 375 replies

So uh, I just bought an Arctic Freezer 33 eSports ONE for my rig and an extra Bionix fan to go on the other side of the heat sink (because I'm a sucker for symmetry). Would this basically make what I have a 34 eSports Duo?

Hello, first time user here! I'm not entirely new to the various PC component tier lists on this website so I'm willing to take this list with only a very small pinch of salt, but one thing that threw me off as I was looking at it was the placement of the Deepcool Gammaxx 400, which is all the way up in Tier 6 for merely $21 where I live. Compare this to the be quiet! Pure Rock Slim, which would seem to at least be on even footing as far as TDP ratings go (not that I haven't learned to take those with a grain of salt; I know manfacturer TDPs are rarely what they're cracked up to be) but appears to perform quite worse depsite being $10 more where I live. Again, I'm not trying to debase the claims of this list; this is mostly just the ramblings of someone who is seeing the list for the first time and was moderately surprised by a lot of the results. By any chance, do you know of any direct comparisons between the Gammaxx 400 and Pure Rock Slim?
