    Forgot to mention my FPS at times can dip to 100 - 120 which is not ideal for competitive play.

    I monitor is 1080p 144hz and I mainly play rainbow six, fortnite and csgo. Currently I get between 165-200 FPS but I’m looking to get above that like 240 FPS range so I can upgrade to a 240 hz monitor.

    I was just unsure if it would bottle neck my cpu and hurt the performance.

    I want to upgrade my GP from my current gtx 970 to a 2070 super. I run my game on all low settings at 1080p I’m simply looking for as much FPS as possible. Will this gpu only bottle neck my cpu and hurt performance
