  1. But if I’m unable to get GSYNC to work correctly then what would be the next best alternative with lowest input lag?
  2. * This can't be a CPU bottleneck because CPU utilization is between 40-60%. Also if it was a CPU bottleneck then I'd have the same or similar frequent low GPU usage and low framerate issue while GSYNC is disabled but I don't. If I disable GSYNC then the issue disappears. * I don't have Fast Startup option. Probably because I've disabled hibernation with "powercfg -h off" * I'll try GSYNC + V-Sync (NVCP), low latency mode and fps cap next time and report back..
  3. Hello. I recently got a GTX 1070 and a non gsync certified Samsung 27" 1440p 75Hz FreeSync monitor. The issue is that if I have GSYNC enabled then I often see GPU utilization drops to around 70% together with FPS drops below 50. It makes it feel like the picture drags or something. It's really annoying. I don't play many games but I have this issue in both GTA5 and Apex Legends. If I disable GSYNC and fps cap then the GPU is always 90%+ utilized and such utilization and fps drops never happen. With fast sync enabled this also doesn't happen but I've read that fast sync should be used if I'm able to get twice as much or more frames than the monitor's refresh rate. I'd rather not use regular v-sync because of the input lag and without v-sync I get terrible tearing. I'm wondering is this a compatibility issue between GSYNC and my monitor or a settings issue? In GTA5 I have GSYNC enabled and fps capped to monitor's refresh rate. Same with Apex Legends. I'm running Windows 10 with the latest updates installed and NVIDIA driver 442.19. Any ideas? Thanks!
