In other words: Everything is in order. The blank spots are caused by removing the heatsink.
In this case, the fault must lie elsewhere.

Does anyone have any idea why one card threatens to overheat but the other doesn't?
    Both MSI RX580.

It has a socketed bios chip so you can use a cheap bios programmer like ch341a to flash the bios

Btw those boards should have a bclk setting so you can set to ~105 to give a lil boost to performance

No just reflash with said bios programmer to your old bios

The sound of the ASUS Am4 Board is okay.
Maybe I'm imagining things... But I will be fine using this one.

    I just got a used Ryzen 5 3600 for 120 EUR on ebay !! 😄
Very very nice. A 1151 Mobo would have cost me about the same.

So... I will pull out the i5 8400 again and sell it.

Thank you again, for your help! 🙂

It's the same thing as the B360M-C, does it actually sound better?

graphics card is always an option for audio, if it turns out to be equally bad

ALC1150, previous gen high end stuff that's not a separate card.

That depends on the cards used, on the B360M-C though the two PCIe x1 slots are too close or under a 2 slot card while the PCIe x4 slot could get in the way of the front panel headers.

and also cost, maybe good audio is not necessary as long as it's not bad as this board has.

If PCPP is correct, then no.

Other countries using euros will have even worse pricing

Your current board has ALC887 codec, boards below 120 EUR either use the same codec or the ALC892 which is just a slight upgrade to the 887. Of course there's more than the codec that makes the audio good, but then there wont be any guarantees when even a better codec that's already used on high end boards not making into a lower end one. What old board did you have? Maybe that's a high end board with say an ALC1220 and extra effort to the audio section.

and if you get a good sound card, you dont need to worry about audio of any board no matter how crap it is.

Or you could get a graphics card and use the audio codec on that, but that's pointless for a office work machine

There are low speed or low noise adapter for fans you could buy for maybe 3-5 euros each

get a new cpu and motherboard. buying an RTX2080 with a 4770 and DDR3 would be bottleneck hell.

First monitor your cpu and gpu useage in the game that do not reach 144fps. If a core of your cpu is being maxed out or almost maxed out then you are getting cpu bound and a gpu upgrade will not result in much higher framerates.

It's possible you have a pin in the socket out of place, probrably off ot the side a tiny bit, just enough it's not letting the system use all available RAM channels even though it detects the sticks.
Just remove the CPU and look carefully at the pin rows in the socket to see if there isn't one that doesn't "Quite" line up like the rest. If it's off to one side a little just move it back over so it lines up again but do be careful when you do that, the pins are fragile and only takes a very small amount of effort to move one. A hint you can use is to just look at the pin tips, if one is out of alignment you'll notice and know what to do from there.

Got an older AMD (FX-8320) that does the same thing except I know it's due to the IMC being damaged in that one.

Thank you for this idea. I checked the Pins. Everything is fine. Nothing bend.

I just noticed, that the Mobo starts to forget all BIOS Settings.
Changed the batterie, but this didn't help.
So something is strange with it....

I grabbed another Mobo on ebay and put the i7 and the RAM on it.
And now everything is working just fine!

I will try to claim the defective Mainboard by the seller.
He told it is working fine, but obviously this is not the case.

Thank you all for your help!! :-)

And sorry for my late response.
