  6. yes I'll need a monitor. Its for school and I was told an i7 would be fine for the cpu.
  7. Budget (including currency): 500-1000 USD Country: United states of America Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Photo shop. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I am in the need of a pc that will run photo shop and school work. Any help would be appriceated. I will need the full PC with keyboard and mouse. Or a Laptop
  8. So either upgrade to a 9900k meaning an i9 or just over clock and I should be good? Never oc before so maybe I shouldnt do that or is it pretty simple for a lack of a better term.
  9. I have been looking at getting a Ryzen 9 3950x but is it really worth it? I spent close to 1700 if not more on this build just to upgrade it in 6 months.
  10. I have had the pc built for a hot minute and its my first build. Its been probably about 6 months or so I think. This is also why I posted on here before I decided to buy or anything like that.
  11. Also forgot to this but I am contributing the 100% usage to the game crashing or stuttering, but like I said I'm new to the PC life and I could be completely wrong.
  12. I really don't have a reason in general to switch, I was having some issues with the 9700k's usage being maxed on games. Also new to the pc building and streaming. A lot of people have been letting me know i should have went with Ryzen at the start and I didn't so I was thinking that maybe switching would fix it.
  13. I'm not sure if its CL14 or CL16 but it is DDR4 3000mhz
  14. Budget (including currency): 500-600 USD Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: AAA Titles, streaming, and video editing. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): CPU: I7-9700k CPU COOLER: Corsair h100i RGB Platinum SE MOBO: MSI Z390 pro ATX LGA1151 GPU: EVGA GEFORCE RTX 2080 super RAM: G.Skill Aegis 16gb STORAGE: WD Blue 500gb M.2, Seagate Barracuda 2tb PSU: EVGA BQ 600w 80+ bronze Fans: 3 Corsair LL120 RGB CASE: Phanteks P300 Monitor: Acer Predator 240hz 1ms 1080p I would like to change my set up to AMD. I know I will need to change my MOBO and CPU Obviously, but will I need to also change my ram? Or would it be fine with what I have. Would more ram be needed or just overkill? I'm also wanting to upgrade my PSU especially if its gonna be needed. (Pretty sure it will be) Should I wait for the new AMD CPU and MOBO? Also price isnt really set just yet probably will be more than the stated budget if i'm honest. Any and all help is appreciated and thank you for your time.
  15. Also and im sorry for this, but on Star Wars it was running the CPU at 100% usage as soon as the game loaded up and would not go down. With the Call of duty it just hits 100% every once in awhile.
