same problem here, windows 10 boot and freezing on spinning circles. i dropped in a new cpu and windows 10 does not want to boot at all. i have a macos hackintosh installed on a separate drive and that works perfectly oddly.

yeah at this point im about to give it and buy another cpu or even another motherboard. thanks for your help

i reset bios and even tried the reset cmos battery. nothing. its really weird that my macos mojave works just fine

if i try to boot from bios whether the boot devices are in order or not A. WIndows 10 or Windows 7 usb key B. Windows 10 SSD Drive C. Anything related to windows they will all freeze at the startup logo. it will have the spinning circles for 2 seconds then stop, frozen.

I dont know if you aren't paying attention to what im saying, if i use anything windows related it freezes when its booting. not helpful at all.

I cannot boot the usb as i said in my original post, i get the spinning circle freeze if i try to boot any kind of windows system.

So, upgraded my mini itx cpu with a more powerful one. went from an i3-6100 to an i5-6500. so i dropped it in, applied fresh thermal paste put everything back together, verified in bios that everything is good to go and turned it on. I try to boot up my Windows 10 and for some reason, no matter what i do (automatic system repair, booting usb key with win10 and even win10) Windows 10 boots up with the logo + Spinning circles and freezes right at that screen. Literally doesn't respond to restart button on case nor anything on the keyboard. Here's the interesting part. Windows 10 is on 1 ssd. I also have a Hackintosh SSD that boots up and WORKS AS IT DID BEFORE. I can also see the Windows 10 ssd too. So i have no idea on how to fix my windows 10. Any help would be appreciated.
