Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park
'Chew went to the park with friendos today!
Weather was wonderfully cloudy and cool today, absolutely perfect for an outside picnic-lunch! No pics of the food, tho -- they were take-outs and were nooot photogenic at all, lol. Had some Korean fried chicken, sub sandwiches, lemonade, and apples (Envy apples, seriously crunchy n' sweet n' yum, 100% recommend). After lunchies, we walked around the park a bit.
Scenery Photos (Raw)
Took 'em while walking, forgive the quality.
Central Picnic Valley
Super spacious area! We ate at one of those tables.
Also we were accosted by a bee/wasp-thing mid-lunch. It went for everything except the honey water-soaked apples.
West Picnic Valley
Playground in the background. There were many kiddos.
Tree Line Trail
I thiiink that's a cycling trail up there...? The incline was sorta steep, we didn't check it out too much.
Puddingstone Reservoir
Heeere fishy fishy fishy~
Beach on the other side of the lake(?) was closed.
Puddingstone Reservoir
A less obstructed view of the lake and weather. I like cool, cloudy days.
Puddingstone Reservoir
Black pixels are duck-goose-birbs, lol. Many birbs in and around the lake(?). Some looked like Duck Hunt ducks.
Puddingstone Reservoir
Daaang, we should've eaten here instead.
Puddingstone Reservoir
Very noice view, plus very noice breeze.
Duck-Goose-Birbs
They're freaking huge. The heck do they eat?
Duck-Goose-Birb
Why did the birb cross the road?
The birb did not actually cross the road. Birb did get angrey when friendo reached out to it with his hand, tho.
After-Park Not-Boba
Yum.
Company and scenery seriously lifted my spirits up. If your area allows it, I'd definitely recommend taking it slow, stretching dem leg muscles, and getting a very deep breath of cool, fresh air.
