clearing the CMOS is a perfectly safe thing to do, what's the worry?

Budget? Usage? SKU (250GB, 500GB, 1TB, etc.)? Country?

I prefer the SX8100 for the fact that it doesn't lack of DRAM. The controller looks more or less similar (both are dual-core but the Realtek in the SX8100 has more channels) and the flash is better for the M390 (176L vs 64L/96L). I think the SX8100 perform better (I'm not sure becuase I didn't find reliabile reviews that tested the SLC cache and 4K performance).

    Hey there,

What's the usual RAM consumption for the modpack?

Usually modpacks consume a lot of RAM and maybe it's going into your storage page files now.

Does the modpack contain something like optifine?

Best to check and change those settings if it does and tell us the performance also.

Here's is something regarding low FPS in the modpack from the website.

The broblem might be from minecraft settings that doesn't allow to use boost clock if u need more help reach ME ouț on discord TheYTB#1677

According to, https://www.asus.com/Motherboards-Components/Motherboards/PRIME/PRIME-A320M-K/techspec/, it seems so.

Yes, it supports NVMe drives. It'll run a PCIe 3.0 x4 drive, which is plenty for fast storage.

Although I guess it depends on your CPU, too.

Are you using a Ryzen 3 3200G, mentioned in your other thread?
If so, this is the line relevant to the M.2 support of this motherboard:
In this context "PCIE" means "an NVME SSD", so yes this motherboard (with the 3200G and other Ryzen CPU's) supports an M.2 NVME SSD. You can use whatever type, but the fastest it will run is PCIE 3.0 x4 (so if you get a PCIE 4.0 drive, it won't run at the max speed).

You don't. The reason it only happens in Minecraft is because Minecraft is CPU heavy, while most others need a good GPU.

    1. Because OpenGL drivers for AMD are pretty bad on Windows. Installing Linux should help, but make sure everything is compatible and you know how to use Linux if you want to do this.
    2. You're also CPU bottlenecked, so the GPU won't boost further than it needs to.

If you install Sodium your game should perform much better.

It's probably prioritizing power going to the CPU rather than to the GPU. Also AMD's boost algorithm is weird and rarely ever hits max speed anyway.
