  1. Ah, thank you for letting me know
  2. So I bought a cooler master hyper 212 evo so I could turbo boost my intel i5 8400 over 2.8 ghz, but it refuses to go over 2.8. I enabled it in my bios, but it still does not help performance.
  3. Update: I have gotten the computer to work with 1 stick of ram, but when I put my second stick in like I do normally, the computer will not boot. My manual says to use a2 and b2 for 2 sticks, but it refuses to boot when I do so.
  4. I reinstalled the fan and tried a boot without the gpu, and still nothing. Switching the ram resulted in nothing either.
  5. It does not, I tried plugging in the dvi for my second monitor alone, and it still won’t show anything.
  6. I ordered a cooler master hyper 212 EVO cpu fan for my pc, and I followed the guides to installing it perfectly. However, after plugging everything back in and proceeding to boot up the pc, it made the sound of starting and all the fans spun, but the screen remained black on my monitor. I have tried unplugging and re plugging in everything in the build, but I cannot seem to get it to start. My build is the ibuypower BB950, but with added 16gb DDR4 3000 speed ram (2x8), Intel i5 8400, Nvidia gtx 1060 3gb, and my motherboard is the asus TUF B360M-PLUS GAMING S. If anyone can help me identify the problem it would be really appreciated, not having my pc for quarantine is rough.
  7. This seems to have helped the problem a bit. However, I noticed after cleaning that I am supposed to be running 4.0 ghz on my cpu with turbo enabled, but I am only running the stock 2.8. I believe this is another source of my gamesrunning slow. Do you happen to have any clue how to resolve this

  9. I started to notice the performance issues a few weeks back, and it’s just been getting worse and worse since then. I used to be able to run games such as destiny 2 at 120+ fps on medium settings, but now the game has constant freezes and frame drops at even the lowest settings. I noticed similar patterns in other games.
  10. My drivers are up to date, I’ve reinstalled games countless times, and I have tried closing everything eating up cpu task manager, but I still can not determine what is causing this.
  11. Recently I’ve noticed a significant decrease in my computer’s ability to run games. I can barely run games on lowest settings, but my specs are far above minimum requirements for said games. I have very little knowledge about PCs in general, and I was wondering if anybody could help me figure out the problem and buy the right parts to solve it my specs are I5 8400, nvidia gtx 1060 3gb, 8 Gb ram
