  1. A few questions: - Alrit then is there anyway to get true https working? - Do you know of any extensions that actually can do this? - What is your setup for having https as close to everywhere u can? - u seem to know a good bit about software and its security do u mind showing what u use as a good example for folks like me who arent super versed on it.
  2. I've used it and it does seem to have the little lock feature that Chrome uses to tell if it is HTTPS also the address in websites I know aren't https show it. Plz elaborate
  3. OBS is pretty great and lol its fine, u don't need to be an expert to help ppl on this forum. Just don't bullshit ppl and do the best with the knowledge and capability u have at the time of helping them. That will make u a great forum contributor here and also a great human being. Goodluck mate!
  4. U have only a few damn I thought I had like none compared to those I've seen from others. Do u use OBS I'm Guessing to screen record on your PC? Thats what I use now
  5. Mines from 2006, I have a R7 1700 fyi. So the above things don't make sense.....
  6. True true. My reasoning I guess is that I don't like how AdBlock does it so I prefer to use the other one. I've been having issues with AdBlock so thats my solution. If i may ask do u mind sharing what your extensions are. Might be able to use some I never heard of. - U can do it easily by right clicking your extensions in the top right. - And then click manage extensions. Click the back arrow to then see all your extensions. U can then select it all and copy it into the reply section to make a quick list.
  7. Make a Notepad of each Category of Logins and Passwords. Reset all your old passwords and make them 20 character random numbers, characters, symbols, etc. I like to use https://passwordsgenerator.net/. Then take those notepad files put them into a folder organized however u want. Encrypt it however u want, or don't up to u. Then buy 4 16gb flash drives Put a copy of each of the Account/Logins folder on them, along with other important files such as Tax docs, SSN, Birth cert, family photos/wedding photos/kids photos, etc etc. ONLY ESSENTIALS not everything or else it won't fit. Then Open up a Safe deposit box if u don't already have one open with your tax docs, real SSN card, Birth cert, etc etc in it. Put the originals in there along with this flashdrive. U can also print out the Notepad files. Combine them into a new Notepad file with all of them combined into it from the others. Print that out and put in Safe deposit box. Then put another Flashdrive in your own personal Fireproof safe in your house. I don't trust those corps to hold my passwords, neither should u. They've gotten hacked and passwords have been leaked, and those who haven't yet will. In the community companies like them who flaunt that they hold all these passwords and act as if they are secure. Have a huge target on there heads for hackers just as a I did that sort of thing. Cause of that and a few other I don't trust those companies. U can if u like but if u take the initiative like I listed above then u will be safer.
  8. A lot of chrome extensions leak data, are unsecure, or just terrible at what they do. I don't know everything so I imagine some of u fine folk could have some alternatives that are safer, and do a better job then the ones I have listed. Any help would be appreciated. 9. Can u share the script? I am starting to hate robocopy as well. Actually is it possible to write it so it replaces the Notepad file I'm replacing if it realizes that its new and the slave copies are old? Thanks
  10. It sounds perfect but I would really like a stock windows feature if possible will update post sorry bout that. But if I can't figure out the Robocopy method Kisai mentioned I might have to go with that. Just wish there was something that u could set and it would run when its updated and thats it no fiddling with commands after u set it up. :((
  11. Ideally the robocopy thing would be ideal. Since its a direct windows feature, could u explain how to do it a bit more. The article u gave is PRETTY HEAVY and not simple at all. Also I'm now realizing there might be a risk of losing the master file along with the older slave files. Is there a way to have a redundant copy of each so in essence I would the 3 main ones and then a copy of each somewhere that gets updated at the same time. Or is this tool safe and rarely ever corrupts files or just shits itself and doesn't do what its told??
  12. What I'm looking to do is to Have a single Notepad file on my desktop where I locally update it frequently. Is there a way to have that file update the other files on 2 other drives on my PC. These drives are always connected and I'd like to have them update automatically instead of me having to manually do it every week or so. I've heard this was a thing with very thorough server solutions, just curious if its possible with Windows, MacOS, Linux, or just at all I suppose. Thanks
  13. I've done it for the taskbar and I've tried tolook around online and the closest thing I can find is this. Which sorta refers to it but not really. :/// https://superuser.com/questions/1145492/the-seconds-displayed-on-the-windows-10-lockscreen-clock-are-not-updating https://www.askvg.com/seconds-count-display-bug-on-windows-10-lock-screen/
  14. Ideally yes, the perfect solution would be what I have now. Where I have a Raid 6 array that I can unplug and replug in any order and it recognizes the pool. BUTT My issues is that its Storage Pool and everywhere I go people say Storage pools is SHIT and unstable and u should rely on it to be how you archive your data on HDD's. What are your thoughts? Should I keep using it if my use case still allows for needing it badly?
