I was thinking about adding a extra Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB M.2 SSD to my pc. Currently I have a 970 EVO 1TB and a seagate barracuda 2TB in my pc. I'm using a ASUS ROG Strix Z390-E Motherboard. My question is, can I add the 970 EVO Plus 2TB to my current pc or is it not compatible? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Im using digital 7.1 audio. I didn't know it might vary from game to game il try stereo out in some more games. It must be a me thing that I think stereo sounds kinda odd cuz I know there are a LOT of people that enjoy and use stereo. thx for the help

I did check the channel volume and it was the same. something i did notice was that in overwatch they had a audio setting where i could choose between dolby and system. When I selected dolby it did sound a lot better because the left kinda blended into the right and the other way around. But thanks for the help

I would really appreciate any help on my question, So I am looking into buying a new pair of headphones and decided to go with the stereo route. since I have only used headphones with digital 7.1 for the past 7 years I dont really know what stereo is supposed to sound like. So when I set my headphones to 2.0 stereo I noticed that when I'm playing for example Overwatch or ingame audio on yt that when a sound comes from the direct left I hear nothing on the right, and the other way around. Is it normal for stereo to sound that way? When the audio comes from in front of me I hear it more balanced in both ears but the sharp left and rights sound kinda odd to me. Any help or info on how to fix this would be really appreciated thx in advance.

hey I just wanted to let everybody know that i managed to fix the problem what I did was, I wen into recoverymode did chkdsk /f :c in cmd and it loaded. then i told me everything was fine and when i booted into windows it also did not try to repair the drive it just loaded in. then i checked properties and tools of drive and it shows that it is fine now

I can send some pictures of a few messages I get. but since my windows is in another language Im gonna have to search for english ones. the picture with the percentage is what should happen right? but on my screen it shows 3 dots instead of the percentage after the (:c) also the issue is on my main drive wich i have windows on so does that mean that it not being able to check have to do with that?

So I started my pc and I saw a message on my screen when starting it. scanning and repairing c drive... but It didnt show any percentage or anything besides the massage so I looked up all sort of stuff about how to fix the error but nothing so far seems to fix it. I have tried going to my c drive then properties and checking my drive for errors, there it shows that there is something wrong with my c drive but when I try to let it fix the error it tells me the drive is in use. so I found out you had to restart and it would repair the issue. But again when I restart my pc it wont show any percentage, just scanning and repairing c drive. so I checked my c drive again in properties and it still gave a error. Then i tried the sfc /scannow it did its thing and told me it repaired my drive and everything was fine. ran it another time to make sure, still fine. checked my c drive in properties and still had a error. then I tried the chkdsk via the instructions of this vid : Fix Hard Drive Errors in Windows 10 | Repair using Windows Tool FROM:windowschimp let that do its thing and I still get errors. I also have downloaded the samsung magician program to check my drives status. it told me it was in good shape and had a good temprature. so know I don't know what else I can do that could fix it. ssd: samsung evo 970 1tb any help would be appreciated. thx in advance

@Kilrah I am waiting until its done. what happens is: I start my pc , when starting it shows me that its scanning and repairing my c drive. but normally it shows the percentage of the scan. on my screen it does not show that and after llike 15 seconds it just boots into my pc like normally.

@The_russian at this point it shows that there is no problem with my c drive when i see the results of mu cmd chkdsk scan but it only shows me a message that there is something wrong with my c drive when i go to file explorer, c drive, and tools.

@sloniupl so I tried to do that but it tells me that the driver does not support the feature. when i click on over provisioning it does say that my colume may be corrupted and that I should use chkdsk and try again
