  2. I have jsut finished my pc build for the first time and I have downlaoded windows and updated it. I've also downloaded my latest gpu driver. but when I go to the site of my mobo (asus ROG strix z390 E gaming) and go to the support and drivers and tools tab it shows all sorts of downloads. I've read on internet thatwhen everything works to not update. so evrything worked fine I gues but then I tried to download modern warfare and I get some connection error when downloading. do I have to download a LAN update from the mobo site? can somebody pls help. link mobo driver and tool site: https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-Z390-E-GAMING/HelpDesk_Download/ thx for the help in advance

  4. I was building my pc for the first time and I when I tried to plug in the cpu cable crom the psu to the mobo it didn't fit. The cpu cable that has to connect to the mobo has the option to split in 2 parts (2x4). I can only fit it into the cpu slot on the mobo when I split in in 2 parts and only use the part that has the square and rounded shapes. the other part of the connector has 4 rounded ones. My mobo is a asus ROG strix z390 E gaming and my psu is a corsair rm 650x the psu is on the qvl of my mobo so it should all fit. can somebody pls help me and explain how I should connect the cables.(mainly the cpu one) is it ok to only use half of the cpu cable on my mobo and psu? thx for the help in advance

  11. thx for letting me know everything will work about the 3700x.... I personally just like intel more even do its more expensive, I know it may sound weird
  12. thx so much for the confirmation sorry but I personally just like intel and nvidea more , I know it may sound weird because its more expensive. but the powersuply is only 550w doesn't seem that a little low for list I had? or is it based on the list you send? or should I just choose a 650w version of it. could I maybe use this one instead? (Corsair RMx (2018) 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply) thx for the help again
  13. I have made a few post on here about my build so far. throughout all the topics i've changed a few parts. I know about the qvl of the mobo and have checked the lists but I still have some trouble with figuring out if everything is compatible with eachother. I have also tried looking up builds with 2 specific parts that I have in my list like, the mobo and the psu and see if I could find out that way. but that is also quite difficult. can somebody please check my list and confirm that everything will work because the compatibility part is the only thing that is holding me back from ordering everything. thanks so much in advance . Im also buying thermal paste, should I buy 1 or 2 tubes ? part list: PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU Intel Core i7-9700K 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor $369.99 @ Best Buy CPU Cooler NZXT Kraken X53 73.11 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler $129.99 @ Amazon Motherboard Asus ROG STRIX Z390-E GAMING ATX LGA1151 Motherboard $199.99 @ Newegg Memory G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory $98.99 @ Newegg Storage Samsung 970 Evo 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive $169.99 @ Amazon Storage Seagate Barracuda Compute 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive $49.99 @ Amazon Video Card Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB AORUS Video Card $589.94 @ Amazon Case NZXT H510 ATX Mid Tower Case $69.98 @ Amazon Power Supply Corsair TXM Gold 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply $102.98 @ Newegg Case Fan Noctua NF-F12 PWM 54.97 CFM 120 mm Fan $19.95 @ Amazon Monitor Asus VG248QG 24.0" 1920x1080 165 Hz Monitor $179.99 @ Best Buy Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total $1981.78 Generated by PCPartPicker 2020-03-21 14:38 EDT-0400
