In the past you had to connect the cd/dvd unit to the sound card using an analogue or digital audio cable.
Since after Windows 98, Windows is smart enough to read the data from discs digitally as 1s and 0s and play it... also, a lot of audio players support reading the audio tracks.
If you want as perfect as possible, you can use Exact Audio Copy to grab all the audio tracks and automatically encode them to FLAC (lossless quality) or Opus (lossy, but much better than mp3 or aac, at high bitrate it's practically lossless)

Bro your offloading is disabled, which relies on the cpu for everything.  The ERL is kind of weak in that department, but you should see better performance when enabling offload to the asic

Dell isn't making the PSUs, they just buy them from someone like Delta.

If Dell made PSUs they would probably burn your house down.

Of course it's hot if you're using the crap stock cooler.
Buy a good air cooler for like $30-50 and it will be much cooler and quieter.
You do not need to replace the CPU or buy an AIO.

I would recommend either removing the 4TB drive or disabling the sata port in the bios first before reinstalling Windows, so it certainly puts everything on the nvme SSD.
