  1. There are several things I would try: Ensure your GPU has the latest driver installed Make sure the monitor works with other devices without the distortion Try a different cable to connect the display Make sure the port on the display and the PC does not looked damaged Make sure you Graphics card (if you have one) is fully inserted in the slot
  2. I don't know if this helps but you could try booting a live USB of Ubuntu or Manjaro and see if you can get display output from your GPU. If it works than at least you can be sure there is nothing wrong with your hardware.
