They do both look good. Just a shame about the fact that they are both lightweight mice. They seem to have similar measurements to my current one though which may well be good for my hands.

The razer mamba wireless is a good wireless mouse. It is 105 grams and for large hands.

  2. Hi! I have been thinking about getting the ducky one 2 mini. https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=5027. This is the site I was seeing it from. I thought that the ducky only came with Cherry MX switches. For some reason, kailh pro and a type of box switches are also an option for the ducky. When you choose a kailh switch for the ducky, it says kailh switches restock on March 5. I thought that was weird, because I thought you could only get Cherry switches with the ducky. Is it some kind of exclusive offer with mechanicalkeyboards.com, or is it a glitch or scam? Any information would be welcomed. Thank you!

My Logitech G700s' wireless capabilities died many years ago, but the annoyingness of the cable constantly falling down the hole in my desk and pulling the mouse with it has rather come to a head. As great of a mouse as it is, I cannot live with it being wired any longer. I am once again asking for your suggestion support.

What I liked about my G700s:

    • Large and ergonomic: I like mice I can fit my hand around without my fingers touching the mousemat. If it's small enough to grip firmly on the underside with the ends of my fingers flat to the base, it's too small for me.
    • Heavy-ish: Likely a result of being an older gaming wireless mouse, but I have always liked the heavier feeling of the mouse.
    • Ball-bearing style "unlockable" mouse wheel: looking around this seems to be fairly common among gaming mice now. But it's a must-have since it's great for web browsing and weapon change spazzing.
    • It has four programmable buttons on the side, with internal memory to store the programs: This has been very useful since I use multiple operating systems on the same machine and the internal memory has meant I don't need to set the mouse up every time I boot to a different OS. Two buttons is all I need really since I have only ever programmed two of them at a time.

My middle finger is 10.5cm from the center of the knuckle joint to my finger tip, knuckle side-to-side width (center to center of joints again) is 6.5cm, palm length is 8cm.

Not really got an upper limit to spending. Under £100 GBP would be nice though.

One of my earliest posts here was asking about mouse purchases. It seemed to do me well then :D

Thanks for before, and thanks again for any suggestions!

Two of the best wireless gaming mice right now are the Logitech G Pro Wireless and the Razer Viper Ultimate. Those are both above your said price limit, but they are arguably the best mice right now.

  4. Hi! I have been considering buying a new keyboard. My top two choices are the drevo blademaster TE ($70) and the ducky one 2 mini ($100). If I get the blademaster, I will also get these PBT pudding keycaps: https://www.amazon.com/HyperX-Double-Shot-PBT-Keycaps/dp/B07JDVG4RQ/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=pbt+keycaps&qid=1578958807&sr=8-3. That would bring the total price of the drevo keyboard and caps to $90, $10 less than the ducky by itself. I would just like to know your opinions on which keyboard to get. Thank you!

Reds are probably the best of Cherry's lineup next to Blacks, in my opinion. Their tactiles are barely tangible, and their clickies are tinny and lifeless compared to those of Kailh's clickies such as Box Jades and Box Navies which have a rich, resonant, vibrant, click, not to mention much more consistency due to the hysteresis prevalent on Cherry clickies which does not exist on Kailh clickies.

Would still rather pick up anything other Cherry if I was going tactile, as in my experience with Cherry Speeds and Cherry Blacks, Cherry switches are inherently scratchy.

I've used more than a handful of Kailh and Gateron switches and found those to be noticeably smoother than their Cherry rivals.

So you would recommend the kailh ones? BTW, the burgundy switches are also linear.

  6. Hi! I have been thinking about getting the Ducky One 2 Mini Pure White: https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=5027 This keyboard comes with options for cherry and kailh switches. At first, I thought I would get the cherry mx reds. Now, I am not so sure. I like the kailh speed pro burgundys as well. I know that the burgundy switches are linear, heavier, and easier to actuate than the reds, and they sound similar. I just want to know if kailh switches have good build quality, and if the pro burgundys are a good choice over the reds. Thank you!
