no such thing, pay for what you need now, nothing more. The 5800X3D would be a better choice for gaming

AMD is actually killing it in the gpu space now so I would recommend a 6800 xt/6950 xt with 16 gigs of vram

The lancool 216 is pretty good as well, meshify c is a bit overpriced

both are overpriced. a 3060 ti for 100 bucks less than a 4060 ti can be better in some situations. and the 4070 is essentially a 3080 which can be beat by a 6950 xt

ye possibly, I would recommend this one OP Thermaltake TOUGHPOWER GF A3 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply (PS-TPD-0850FNFAGU-L) - PCPartPicker

Add another set of that RAM for a total of 32GB and this cpu in the link after you update your boards bios.

I'd advice against buying a 4070. It is not that good of a gpu for the money.

Again, try to buy a last gen second hand. You can find 3070ti's for instance for around 400 euro's (just dont buy gigabyte ones since they apparently are more prone to cracking), which is only around 20% slower than the 4070. Given current gen is at best only marginally better up to the 4070, and beyond that quite a bit better but also way more expensive, I think buying previous gen second hand is the best way forward.

Yeah multiple ARGB fans connected to one header will still mimic each others static colours.

The only way i've been able to tweak this is by using SignalRGB...

It's able to change an individual LED within an ARGB fan + control LEDs in multiple devices (my mobo, mouse, keyboard & mousepad were all supported).

It's very in-depth...too in-depth for me when I tried it weeks ago, so I uninstalled it. They've updated it since, so might be worth a re-install.

But since I only use static colours & keep a constant theme, I don't really have a need for it.

Just a note; if you are plugging the standard RGB fans into the same header, every fan on that header will have the same color and pattern. In the case of ARGB fans, you would be able change colors on one fan, and every other fan on the same header will display the same color pattern. This is more of a duplicator situation than an individual fan situation.

The A in "A"RGB is addressable. Meaning, you can address each fan, or more specifically, each LED on each fan individually. With standard 12v RGB, its all or nothing on each port.

ah i see! yeah the new one is 4tb  5400 rpm and is the classic size of an hdd. the one that theoretically makes the sound is 1tb 7200rpm and has a smaller size since it comes from a 6+ year old laptop.
in the end of the day it seems i was worried for nothing. thanks mate

Rodark reacted to owencrispy in Can you remap the case button for controlling RGB?
depends on the switch the button uses. Im not sure of the actual technical name for the swith types (sorry), but using the wrong switch as a reset could mean once you press the button, it could just cycle through resets as the switch inside makes constant contact

If its right, you just add the right connector and plug it in otherwise?

You really want logitech? Even audio pro's in your other thread said to go for edifiers, so you should go with that Only bass is decent on the logitech's, nothing else, with edifier's you have good all rounders and with logi's you get speakers that are decent at one thing and suck in others. You could look for a used powered sub, they can be pretty cheap. Again, @rice guruanswered better

Rodark reacted to tikker in Help choosing speakers 2.1 vs 5.1
First to clear up a possible misconception: in a 5.1 system you have front left center and right and left/right surrounds (not rears!), so three speakers in front of you and the satellites on your side not behind you (or at most a small bit). Only in 7.1 and up you get rears.

As others have said, surround works best with proper speaker placement, so unless you really really want surround sound, at lower budgets you can get better audio quality if you go for a 2.1 / 2.0 setup.

The older Logitech stuff was actually kinda decent. The Z5500 is still a really popular model, but isn't made anymore. The newer Logitech stuff is pretty cheap enclosures/amplifiers, but their drivers are made by Tangband which are actually a decent driver manufacturer. Just unfortunatley the drivers aren't backed up by the rest of the system. For example, the subwoofer of the Z906 uses a Tangband W8-1365SBF if I remember correctly.

That particular model would be ideal for the price.

what you recommend does make sense, but this build will probably last me some years before a big update, ill buy maybe another hdd or add ram but thats it, so i think many changes will have come to pass before i even think about upgrading. they might even take it back and make them supportable throught a bios, just like ryzen 5 series

2070 Super is a great 1440p card (it even does reasonably well in 4K, but I wouldn't expect that to last over a long period of time.)

What I'm pointing out it that the right answer will depend largely on the games you play.
Do you play primarily games like:
CSGo, League of Legends, Overwatch, Fortnite, etc. (1080p 144hz 1ms) Tomb Raider, Assassin's Creed, Jedi: Fallen Order, other AAA games (1440p IPS panel.)
