MY X58 Build and what do you guys think?
Alienware 15 R2 replied to Alienware 15 R2's topic in New Builds and Planning
Mushkin BlackLine DDR3 RAM. I'm still on this platform cause I think they dont really care about AVX now cause I can play most games if not all right now on this PC. Also I think 4.2Ghz is ok right? Cause I do have a Profile for 4.5Ghz and I just wanted to not use it to extend the life of the CPU. -
Nice reply dude!

Budget (including currency): $1300 Country: US Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: NFS Rivals Modded,Minecraft,Fortnite,BF2042, etc.. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I'm just making a List cause I already have the parts. ASUS RAMPAGE II EXTREME X5690 @ 4.2Ghz with AIO Water Cooler 120mm. 2 WD Black Caviar HDD's 1Tb 2 SSD's SATA 512Gb RTX 3070 ASUS Dual Fan model ThermalTake SMART Series 700W PSU. All fans in the Case are Noctua's 120MM except the HDD which is 90mm noctua. Alienware Predator 2 ALX Case with acoustic sound proofing in the inside with LED light modfications.

Also I agree with him about it being a generic corsair RGB build. Its kind of the same thing right now with glass panels and a aluminum case. You can always use Integrated Graphics as they've improved for now and buy aa GPU for 600.

I dont wanna say anything wrong but I still use X58? It still has benefits and my specs are here: RTX 3070 48Gb Of DDR3 2000Mhz Mushkin Blackline Memory, X5690 at 4.2Ghz. 120MM AIO Rosewill ASUS RAMPAGE II EXTREME. Old Alienware case (Predator 2 Green) with Modified LED's. All for 1,300 because of the GPU adding to the $700 Parts.

Cause games now require 6gb or more. -

I can recommend you parts. Core i7-4790T Any deceant or mid range motherboard. GTX 1660Ti or a 1060 6Gb 650W 80+ White PSU Any Case that fits a ATX size motherboard. 1 1Tb HDD 1 128Gb SSD SATA Anything that fits a 1150 socket i.e water cooling or air cooling. mouse keyboard cheap monitor 1080p -
I think its because your Board only supports 2nd and 3rd gen Ryzen processors. Check if there is a BIOS update for that.
