  1. Cool, last wheel that I had owned is the Xbox 360 wheel. The G29 looks way better. I'm still hesitant on getting this though. Thanks for your input Ellargo333.
  2. Hi, I found this today. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00Z0UWWYC?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_imb_mini_detail&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER Anybody want tell me first hand experience on this wheel besides Luke?
  3. Damn, my XFX 295x2 comes with a mini DP to HDMI adapter only. Oh well couple more days to wait, I guess. There is supposed to be a Free Sync driver release tomorrow or some time soon. Mean while I'll be at 60hz. Oh here is a link http://www.guru3d.com/news-story/single-gpu-amd-freesync-driver-march-19th.html . Little depressing about the crossfire part though.
  4. Is this red L in a black box a new one?
  5. Hey, roop182 did you receive a mini DP to DP adapter with your monitor? Crap, the 295x2's come with mini DP outs. My monitor hasn't arrived yet.
  6. Human eye crap, my ass. Anyone that can't notice the difference need some help. But then again makes your vision like superhuman I guess.
  7. I'm getting mine tomorrow as well. What is your setup, GPU? I'm gonna marry/mate it to a 295X2.
  8. Acer doesn't list the panel name yet, but it shows both panels have the same response time. I guess someone will find out the name of the panel when it becomes available.
  9. I would assume the Acer XG270HU is not released yet at the time of this post. Does any one know how the BenQ XL2730Z compares to the Acer XG270HU? I know about the price, the stand, VESA wall mountable, and S switch. They both seem to advertise anti flicker and blue light tech. Is BenQ's motion blur reduction exclusive to BenQ? Is it the same panel? BenQ XL2730Z http://gaming.benq.com/gaming-monitor/xl2730z $630, wall mountable, ease of use, gamer design, cool stand Acer XG270HU http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/model/UM.HG0AA.001 $500, thinner bezel/frame, $130 less

    1440p or 4K?

Do you really think they are close? I guess if you just compare price, they are close. The specs the monitors have are very different. The Acer Xb280hk is a 4K, 60hz, G-sync, with a TN panel $800. The soon to be released Acer Xb270hu is a 1440p, 144hz, G-sync, with a IPS panel, also $800. Sorry for comparing Acer and G-snyc. I guess your for AMD, and want Free-sync. Then you can get the, also soon to be released Acer Xg270hu, 1440p, 144hz, Free-sync, with TN panel $500. (these are US prices) I would get a 1440p monitor, over a 4K. Have you ever been burned by trying dual GPU's on a game and only a single GPU works? That has happened to me because of driver support.
  12. This comparison with Swift and Acer from TFT Central shows who is better. http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/acer_xb270hu.htm How about the BenQ compared to the Acer XG270HU, if price is an issue. BenQ $630, and Acer $500?
  13. AMD fans here's your chance to be like Swift owners. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824014451 Finally!!
  14. I have the Acer xb280hk with 780's in SLI. I can't play top tier games in 4K. Netflix 4K doesn't seem to work on PC, works fine on my 4K smart TV. I would shoot for a 1440p monitor, preferably. I don't think that optimized 4K gaming with a single card will happen until 3 more generations, including Titan X. You can't really rely on multi-card performance for every game because of driver support. I barely get by on 1600p @ 60hz on a single card. You should wait for freesync 1440p with 144hz monitor to get released. That is more of a attainable future proof monitor, if there is one. I am looking to get the Acer XG270HU.
