    Hi,

ChromiumOS is an awesome choice! I would download an image from ArnoldTheBat because he already compiles it and has it working with pretty much all hardware.

Also, while there are many Linux-based operating systems that claim to be super lightweight, I've found that Debian works the best because of it's amazing comparability with programs, and it uses very little resources to run. You can install Google Chrome on it and mount network drives just fine!

One final option is RemixOS, but it works for select devices. RemixOS is like a desktop version of the Android operating system, and it runs the web browser app, and any app that you could install on your Android phone or tablet, but in a window.

For what you said you would like to use it for, I would suggest ChromiumOS, but the other two would also work great! With Debian, you will not have to worry about compatibility with your hardware at all, while the other two are a little iffy.

Any Linux distro is great (Ubuntu, Mint, etc.) another suggestion would be RemixOS, which is android-based, and quite fluid. it doesn't have the multitasking of Linux, but has the added benefit of being able to run any android app. :http://www.jide.com/remixos

It's still not scripted in the slightest. Ultimately it's just an opinion but I really like it so far. The main change I like though is the longer episodes.

    Not sure what I did..
I have changed the IP address before..
But I majorly changed it and it seems to be working now.
I can connect to both the upstairs and downstairs easily..
    I don't trust it though
    So I'll let you know.
    Thanks HEAPS guys!

In your router's setting page , look for something called LAN or internet setup, and look for ip address.

^Good point, didn't think about that. But i'm still convinced it has something to do with the IP's, could it be related to the DHCP server? Maybe it has to be turned off on the 2nd one ?

I was thinking DHCP too but he can connect to the internet if plugging in an ethernet'd computer, not over WiFi. DHCP works the same for both Wireless and Wired, or so I thought...

If they weren't working with each other there would be IP conflicts between WiFi and Wired.

I completely understand why LMG has started to use vessel and I congratulate them for doing so.
However my experience with the platform hasn't been good so far.
I live in Australia and have terrible internet speeds compared to you guys in the rest of the world, I can watch Youtube in 720p no problem however I have never been able to watch twitch without the video stopping and having to buffer ever 10 seconds (even in low resolutions) and I'm getting the same experience with Vessel.
With no option for resolution settings, just Auto or HD I am forced to leave it on Auto where the video looks terrible (maybe 480p) and having to leave it to buffer for over a minute before I am able to watch 10 seconds of the video before it stops again.
As I said before I completely support LMG's choice to use vessel is seems like a great platform however I thought you would appreciate my feedback and I think I'm going to have to stick to YouTube for now.

Was also wondering if the WAN show archive will be going up same time as usual on YouTube?
Thanks heaps for the AWESOME content guys and keep up the amazing work!!

No post beep could mean that the CPU isn't properly in its socket, the ram is broken or that your mobo is broken. Test the components and check whether they are properly installed.

First and foremost, as far as mine, and pretty much everyone's experience with the 840 EVO? Beyond fantastic. Nothing touches these SSDs, I don't care what anyone says. The ratings & reviews speak for themselves. Period.

Now, as far as your concern with throwing games on an SSD. I'll leave all the geeky technical details out; but, I will tell you this: No, you don't want to throw ALL of your games on it. Not really because of what you mentioned (which isn't that big of an issue, but a legitimate concern), and to clarify; I would say that whoever told you that isn't correct, most would argue (it's negligible) - but also because you don't want to fill up your OS/Boot SSD. As we all know, Windows is always updating, there's always new drivers, etc. But not only for that.. Also for performance reasons.

If you DO want your games on an SSD - I say instead of getting a large SSD for both your OS + Games, I would get 2 SSDs (and a HDD, if you need it..) and put the OS and your top 3 games on there, and the rest on the other SSD or 7200 RPM HDD.

    Hope that answered your questions.

Putting games on an SSD is perfectly fine. Whoever said that, well, they are wrong. lol.

And I have 2 evo's and love them. As far as I know people have nothing but great experiences with them!

Microsoft releases updated in waves, to reduce overloading their servers.
So it may take time before you have it. Due to time zones differences, (I am talking generally, for all that reads this), it may show up the next day.

Update 1 of Windows 8.1 is delivered in Windows Update.
