  1. It was a problem with my motherboard. I sent it to the webshop for repair and it got replaced. I've got a new one now and it is working fine. Thank god for warranty!
  2. Alright, I somehow managed to get the audio driver from Realtek's site succesfully installed. However, the Realtek Audio Console (the one I made the screenshots of) wouldn't work with the driver, so I could not split the audio-out lines into two seperate ones. This means if I had my speakers plugged in the back it would send audio out there, and if I wanted to get it on my headphones I just had to plug them in, and it would play on there and not on the speakerset. I could not change this, as I had no interface, so I updated the driver in Device Manager, giving me the exact driver I had first. Back to square 0. I didn't check whether the playback issue I originally came here for happened with the other driver, from Realtek's site occured aswell, and now I can't manage to install it again because I don't remember the exact steps I took to do so. I'm going off to bed now and I'll look into this more tomorrow. Thanks for your help and patience.
  3. I removed the Realtek drivers and reinstalled it with the installer from their site. Now the app which I made the screenshots in doesnt recognize this driver and will no longer function, and I cannot 'split' the green jacks and the pink jacks. If I plug in my headphones, it will only play from the headphones, if I take it out but leave my speakers in the rear green jack, it plays from my speakers.
  4. When I have my front headphones plugged in, it gets played back on my headphones but also gets sent to my mic, whether it is in the front or in the back, but only when it is also plugged in.
  5. I use my earphones (the one with the 4 pins on the connector) and a splitter with a green plug and a pink one, for headphones and mic respectively. However I eliminated the possibility of this being the issue as I tried it with an old headset that has the two plugs 'built-in' to the cable, ending me up with the same result.
  6. I've checked this and my case has got a solid block connector, which couldn't have been plugged in wrong since it won't allow it to be plugged in the wrong way. I do also hear what's being played back on the headphone, so it's both playing back on it and recording on it at the same time.
  7. So I've been searching all over the internet with no answer so far... Thinking I might give this a shot. About a month ago I've made my first PC build which turned out pretty good so far, except for the fact that the microphone input, be it plugged in on the front of the case or directly into the mobo, picks up everything I play back on the headphone jack, on the front of the case. If it helps, here's my spec list: Updating drivers from Realtek wasn't a succes either, I'm thinking it has to do with my motherboard. Any suggestions before I try returning it?
