  1. Yeah shroud damage sounds bad. But if I were to get it I have some options of what I can do with it.
  2. Probably not worth it. But might be able to swap out the shroud/cooler and turn it for a quick buck. I haven’t purchased it yet though so I was just entertaining the idea of trying it out.
  3. Well cheaper then the first one I bought which was the water force one for $500 but $375 for the air cooled one with shroud damage.
  4. Lol I agree, but let’s say you already bought one used and found another used one for cheap due to some shroud damage.
  5. I’m not buying either of those cards I was just using the Newegg links as a reference.
  6. Gigabyte has a couple 1080ti cards available some with AIO some air cooled some even with a water block. my question is if I got This could I run sli with This? are they actually the same card just with two different cooling solutions? sorry if this is a topic that’s been created already I had a hard time finding an answer.
  7. @johnny5c That’d be something! But I doubt it. I think Linus did a video on it actually. Im pretty green to the custom water loop world. but it’s performing better than a two separate CPU AIO and GPU AIO combo. under load it’s cooler than my Noctua, but at idle my Noctua gets a little cooler. I think that’s down to MOBO variables though. MSI Gaming m5 vs. ASRock Taichi both Z270 both with delidded i7-7700k and the ASRock board just runs cooler than the MSI according to Aida64
  8. Copper and Brass unless they’re pulling a fast one. Thermaltake Pacific C360 Radiator
  9. It was a comment that was made elsewhere, I never thought of it being a problem. I didn’t see how the inside of the case would warmer than the liquid in the pipes but someone did. The coolant ph level was made elsewhere as well and again didn’t think it’d be an issue due to copper being used in blocks and radiators. And no I went for an industrial look that doesn’t fit everyone’s taste. thanks for your response?
  10. So I was inspired to build a custom water loop, I wanted it to combine what I do for work with what I do for fun and this what I came up with. ive seen hardline copper runs before, but I wanted to use rigid pipe not soft tubing and I wanted an industrial look. I don’t see condensation occurring, the case is basically open to the surrounding air, and I don’t see what purpose selling acidic coolant would serve. i had a good time putting this together, maybe there’s something I overlooked or didn’t consider. either way any feedback would be appreciated.
