Alright then, guess I'll go with that kit, since it's on the list of compatible RAM and 3200Mhz with CL14. Sounds like the perfect match for the Ryzen.

Dimms are found on one side of the ram stick , technically it's supposed to perform better.

All Ryzen compatible ones , Hope this helps bro . i assume you'll only select the from the value option since you chose a rather budget mobo. i expect the other components to be on par with that as well.

just look up the value ones, or if you're planning to OC`ing the snot out of it, then you must spend more & refine from that list.  direct search to google should bring you up to the product page & specs chart.  it's gonna take an hour . but will be worth it .

The faster the better but that board only goes as far as 3466MHz. I'm not sure how much timings matter with Ryzen but, the ones I linked were CL16 or more.

Make sure to get good ram like G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory. Since Ryzen loves ram.

I've been at it for about 2 hours, I think one more won't hurt.

If the power adapter for her laptop is a dual voltage one, she won't need a transformer.  However if it's only single voltage (and most laptop power adapters are dual voltage these days) then she will need one.  And she will also need to have an outlet adapter since the Swiss power connectors are usually 3 pin. Forget what I said about 3 pin, I misread as she is visiting America from Switzerland.  An American 2 pin power plug with round pins should fit into the 3 pin Swiss outlet.  Just no Ground pin.

Read the label on the power adapter brick, does it say 110-120v 60hz only or 110-240v 50/60hz?
 
See the text near the bottom left area of this photo of a power brick.   Below the big 200W text, it says 100-240V 50-60hz.  This is a dual voltage adapter.

Nah, "Like" doesn't really mean anything really, its just an updoot. Saying Agree/Informative/Funny/Friendly/Good Point pretty much covers what most people pressed "Like" for.

I personally use Handbrake, but it depends on what you need for it.

I like Handbrake for converting file types

And if you want editing options too, you could use an editing software like Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere.

Freemake video converter or Handbrake are good for video encoding.
