A turd with an HDMI cable jammed into it is more powerful than a MacBook Air, and up until this year it had a better display, too.
 
Seriously though, discontinuing the Air wouldn't be a surprise. By pricing the Air up and up, they're really steering a lot of that lower-end laptop market into their iPad line instead. They're also very quickly approaching the point where the MacBook Air is into the level of pricing where another $200 for a 13" MBP isn't a big deal. Considering that the Air is basically the worst laptop on the face of the earth that you can buy (from a value perspective), I'd almost expect them to kill it off within the next few years.

Best case scenario, the fuse is broken in the power supply.  You could open it up and replace the fuse. However that would void the warranty
Most likely though, a component failed inside the power supply, which caused the power supply to consume an excessive amount of energy for a few seconds, which caused the protection in your electrical panel to trigger and disconnect the electricity to protect the house wiring from overheating or getting damaged.
You would have to replace those broken components inside the psu and that's not something a beginner / amateur can do.
 
If the psu is still under warranty, return it for warranty, not much you can do.
 
It has nothing to do with 110v AC vs 220v AC - the psu is modern enough that it would work with around 90v AC ... 260v AC, it auto works in any country with voltage in that range.

Maybe not a toaster, but my 2010 Macbook Pro could run it at 45 fps. I played League on it fine. So your computer will be fine.

-Ryzen 5 3600 does not have integrated graphics, so this would not work.
 
-Ryzen 5 3600 is overkill for web browsing, youtube and printing.
 
-3000MHz RAM doesn't matter when you only get one stick, two sticks of slow RAM > one stick of fast RAM

Hello! New member here, and I need some help from those more tech savvy than myself. 
 
I’m looking into building my own PC. I have very little experience with any under the hood technology stuff, but I’m committed to learning and doing the damn thing. I’ve recently had a lot of big changes in my life and I’m looking to get back into what I’m passionate about, in which gaming is a huge part. I used to love PC gaming when I was younger (and had a machine to do it on...), but with money troubles, kids, and life in general, I’ve gotten out of the groove. 
 
I wanna dive headfirst back into it. My budget would be around $1000 with a little wiggle room, maybe $100-$200 more but if it can be avoided I’d prefer that. I’d be playing mainly RPGs like Skyrim, ESO, WOW, Dragon Age etc etc, along with some video editing. I’m going to have a laptop for daily tasks and school work so this PC will solely be for graphically intensive tasks, & I’m sure some corners can be cut in that respect.
 
I’d need the full setup, moniter, keyboard, mouse & all. I definitely want a case with a glass window so I can admire my handiwork for years to come, along with having some aesthetic RGB decor. When I say I have nothing, I mean it. I’m gonna be buying not just the parts for my build, but the tools as well.. so recommendations for all that is definitely necessary. I’ve been consuming tons of build guides and other media on PC building, so I have a basic idea of the task ahead, but I’m still trying to get a better understanding on the parts I’ll need to buy and what will fit my specific use case the best. I don’t want to overpay for a prebuilt machine, and I’m willing to put the work in to get my machine exactly how I want it. In the future I’ll definitely want to get a VR headset (Oculus Rift S or Quest, haven’t decided which yet), so I’d need my PC to be able to handle that. 
 
Alright, I think that’s about it. I’m all ears (or rather, eyes) and willing and ready for all help/input/advice. This is gonna be a long journey, and I’ll probably make some mistakes along the way, so y’all will be seeing my name around here a lot. Thanks guys, let me know what y’all think!!

But have you thought this through?
What's your budget that you're willing to spend?
Would you still go with Intel?

I'd love to help you out, but I need some more information.

Stressful. I was certain I would screw something up royally and make my $3000 investment worthless. I got the components installed and practically cried when I looked at the mess of wires that I needed to "cable manage" (if you can call what I did cable management).
 
And when I fired it up for the first time? Nothing. No BIOS, just fans running at 100%. I spent hours disassembling and reassembling trying to figure out what I did wrong, but eventually I gave up and called ASUS tech support, thinking it was possibly a dead motherboard. The extremely helpful tech support guy walked me through troubleshooting it, removing one component at a time, and then jumping it. The conclusion we came to was that it was either a dead motherboard or CPU, so I was proactive and just exchanged both.
 
But when I reassembled it and hit that power button....wow what a sigh of relief!
 
On the plus side with all the assembly and disassembly experience I can now tear down my PC completely in about 10 minutes, lol.

Neither would I. I first learned about watercooling, and thought it was pretty interesting. A friend from school told me otherwise.

I still don't trust myself (that much) with AIOs, but I'd prefer AIOs a thousand times more than custom loops.
