Nevermore47

So I recently got a new monitor - it's pretty nice, it does the job but I've recently noticed something quite strange, perhaps a dead pixel now? I'm pretty worried, I did pay a lot and for something like this... and I really don't know much about the situation. Any replies would be much appreciated. Other than that, I've pretty much got no option but to send it in for a repair but.. I don't even know if it'll be considered as malfunctioning.
