Ok. Ill pair the 760 with the 4460 and just have the 2500k running stock with the best gpu I can find then

What would be the best match up of hardware for a i5 2500k @5ghz and a i5 4460 with a gtx 760 and random old gpu? I want to make sure I'm contributing the most possible

Could you guys try doing rendering in Autodesk Inventor with it? Inventor doesn't support gpu rendering, but has the option to turn realtime raytracing on. I've tried using my 2700x with this feature but it, the really nice looking live render only comes if I don't adjust my viewpoint for a few seconds. I'd be very interested to see the 3990x's performance with it and if you used 3DSmax to render the same thing gpu side, you could test Jensen's claim about gigarays and how much better the Quadros are for raytracing/modeling now.
