  1. Hi, so I've just upgraded from an old Core i5 to a Ryzen 5 3600, along with an ASUS Prime x470 pro motherboard and 16gb of Corsair vengeance RGB 3600MHz memory. Unfortunately it hasn't been smooth sailing for me at all. Installing Windows 10 for the first time went fine, until blue screens of death started popping up whever the PC needed to restart during the installation. I've already updated the BIOS to the most recent version, which didn't help. I then started to look at the RAM by running memtest86 this is where it really got weird. I kept just one 8 gig stick in the A2 slot in my motherboard, and memtest86 counted up to 5000 errors before saying "too many errors" and quitting. I then swapped the stick out for the other stick of memory, and everything stayed green the entire time? No errors at all! The first memory stick I tested probably has a defect, and I should return it right? Is this common? Thanks for any advice.
