  1. Yeah, its weird. For lower res like 1280x960, it only have the highest of 75hz. Need to use CRU to get 1280x960 @ 144
  2. Guess i stick with hdmi cable and CRU to get 1920x1080 @ 144 since there isn't any problem using hdmi cable. Thanks.
  3. I see. Does overclocking a monitor damage your monitor? Software like Custom Resolution Utility is able to set custom resolution and hertz.
  4. Tried using hdmi cable but not facing any issue. Just getting 120hz instead of 144hz on 1920x1080 on hdmi. Wonder if using an dp cable will get 144hz on 1920x1080.
  5. Hi, so i just bought a mini displayport to standard displayport cable 1.4 since my laptop only support mini displayport and hdmi. When i connect my laptop (MSI GL62m 7rdx) to my external monitor (ACER VG240YP) via minidp -> dp. I keep getting screen flicker. Any ideas?. Does the dp cable effect the screen flicker if my monitor can only use dp1.2 but the cable is dp1.4? here is the link:
  6. Native is 1920x1080 (120hz), but i change the resolution to 1280x1024 , it is only 75hz
  7. I used to play 4:3 stretched on my laptop
  8. So recently i bought a 144hz monitor (Acer VG240YP) and i connect my laptop to the monitor using hdmi 2.0 cable. But when i change the resolution to 4:3 1920x1024 it is just 75hz, i cant set custom resolution on my Intel Graphics Setting, keep on saying exceed maximum bandwith. Any ideas? (Or should i use mini display port to external monitor?)
