  1. Ok cool, thanks 4 the feedback
  2. When u say 3600 u mean the processor or the ram? Im assuming u mean the 3600x processor
  3. Anybody use these and have anything to say about them? https://www.newegg.com/huanuo-hn-cm1-stand-aterrimus/p/15Z-01XB-00001?reviews=all&Item=9SIAJDS8G67130&cm_sp=Homepage_SS-_-P0_9SIAJDS8G67130-_-02272020&quicklink=true Might just pick this up since it seems to be on sale today.
  4. Forgot to mention Overwatch, Tomb Raider series, The Witcher 3.... I play a lot casually lol!
  5. Ah yes, so probably some Escape from Tark, Diablo 4 when it comes out, The Division 2, Destiny 2, mostly ARPG's and some RPG's
  6. So I have a choice to make. If I'm just going to be playing casually at 1440p/144hz and looking to keep the frame rates at around 70-100 FPS. Would it be best if I go with a 2080S/3700x/3600 CL18 combo vs a 2070S/3600x/3200 CL16? X570 Aorus elite wifi mobo and it will be casually gaming not super competitive and also probably doing a bit of remote sysadmin support work on it. How much of a difference would it really make? Do I need a 2080 if I'm not planning on playing 4k? If I go with the 2070s i can then spurge a bit with aesthetics on the build, but I dont want to sacrifice too much performance just for looks. Thanks guys
  7. Damn that's not bad at all.. thanks!
  8. Current build I set up back in 2013 to give you an idea of where I'm coming from. My video card I had to replace a couple years back because my MSI 670 shit the bed. I currently do not own a 144hz (sad I know..) monitor either I5-3570k 4.2OC 8GB of Corsair Vengeance ddr3 MSI Z77A-GD65 MSI GTX 1060 OC 800 Watt Corsair Silent Pro Gold (still works so can possibly reuse) So now on to where I need some advice. My budget for my next build is roughly 1800-1900 dollars US. I dont do any rendering or streaming, but I do use my PC to create VM's and some remote sysadmin work. For whatever reason every time I start to do my build on the Microcenter website or even in pcpartpicker I cant seem to stop myself from going over my damn budget. I need to be able to include a 1440p freesync/gsync monitor, play at decent framerates and would like to have some decent ARGB fans/ram (it's a want not a need i know) if possible as well. Anybody mind throwing me some ideas? I also already have a Samsung 970 Evo Plus NVme ready to go so a hard drive is not needed. All input is greatly appreciated.
